Austin Taylor

A hunter working at the Raccoon Zoo. He was often in trouble with zoo management for bringing his own personal hunting rifle to work with him and keeping it stored in the Observation Lodge. Employee records show that Austin was ranked below many of his colleagues. He was good friends with fellow keepers Lloyed Stewart and Patrick Reyes.

At the time of the outbreak, with the infected zoo animals running riot, Austin barricaded himself in the Observation Lodge with his trusty rifle and assisted some survivors who strayed into the zoo looking for some means of rescue. Austin chose to remain behind rather than leave the zoo and his fate remains unknown, though it is likely he made it out of the city alive before it went nuclear.
