Barry Burton

Barry Burton was one of the oldest members on the Raccoon City S.T.A.R.S. team, a noble and proud family man, father of two children and a loving husband. A former SWAT team member for 16 years before joining S.T.A.R.S., Barry is considered to be one of the best members of S.T.A.R.S., and is the one who found Chris and recruited him. His love for the N.R.A. made Barry the weapons expert for the S.T.A.R.S. Alpha team.



During the Mansion incident, Barry’s life was turned upside down. Wesker betrayed him and claimed to have kidnapped Barry’s family, telling Barry if wanted to see his family again he would have to follow Wesker’s orders. Barry partnered with Jill throughout most of the mansion, and still saved her life many times even while dealing with the burden of Wesker’s demands. Ultimately, Barry found that Wesker was not telling the truth about his family being held hostage by Umbrella, so he turned on him. Barry managed to escape the mansion along with Jill, Chris and Rebecca.

Barry, feeling guilty for having betrayed his own teammates, continually tried to make up for what he did. A few months after the incident at the mansion Barry received word that Raccoon City had been infected with the T-Virus, and that Jill was still in the city as it was about to be nuked. Barry flew a helicopter into Raccoon City and saved Jill and Carlos from the blast, after which he vowed to join his teammates in their quest to bring down Umbrella. With a heavy heart Barry said his goodbyes to his family and left to join Chris in Europe. Since Umbrella’s demise the whereabouts of Barry Burton are not known.
