Elza Walker is a character that gets a lot of attention in the Resident Evil community, especially for someone who was never seen in a single released title, only through beta images and videos from an early build of Resident Evil 2.

Elza made her Resident Evil debut in the summer of 1996 when Biohazard 2 was shown at the Tokyo Game Show in Japan. Blonde with a red motorcycle suite, she was certainly eye catching. Many images showed her on or next to her Ducati motorcycle, which she either raced or leisurely rode.

The story placed her in Raccoon city searching for somebody, the identity of whom remains un-known, until the events we're all familiar with take place. Many debate whether she was searching for Chris, as Claire was, while others believe it was someone new to the franchise. Either way, she was replaced by Claire Redfield in the final build, and though she shares similarities with Claire, physically and plot wise, she is her own unique character who many fans would still like to learn more about, ideally through a re-release of Resident Evil 2 or a completely unique game of her own.
