Joe Kendo

Joe is the older brother of Robert Kendo and together they run the successful 'Kendo's' chain of gunshops.

Joe was part of the San Francisco SWAT team and following his retirement trained as a gunsmith. Whilst visiting Raccoon City to see his brother he was asked by the R.P.D. to act as a trainer to the newly formed S.T.A.R.S. team. Kendo accepted and kept the post for six months before he returned to San Franciso to become a gunsmith once more.

Before he left however, he accepted an offer for the R.P.D. to build custom weaponry for the S.T.A.R.S. and eventually came up with the Samurai Edge pistol.

Following the gun's implementation into the team, minor adjustments from then on were left to his brother, Robert.
