Codenamed Plant 43, this B.O.W. was developed from the data retrieved on Plant 42; it was created in the underground Umbrella lab. The Ivy could move on its own, using its vines as limbs. Its “head” was a flower, that when opened would spit out acidic fluids. It sustained itself by absorbing water vapor through its skin.

The Ivy also adapted well to its environment. Leon and Claire activated gas called P- Epsilon which was supposed to neutralize the plants, instead the Ivy’s absorbed the gas and mutated into a more poisonous form. This new form was red in color and now expunged poison gas from its flower head.
