U-8

U-8 is a B.O.W. created by Tricell by combining the genes of different creatures, primarly from crabs. Chris and Sheva fought this giant deep within the Uroboros Research Facility (formerly the Umbrella African Research Facility) when searching for Jill.



It possesses a hard exoskeleton and its abdomen is home to flying B.O.W.s known as U-8 Drones, which are independent and not larval U-8. Ricardo Irving sold various U-8's in the black market, as well as an upgraded version named U-8 Prime, that covers the exposed areas of the original U-8 and is better defended.
