New BSAA desktop site for Revelations.

http://www.bsaa-admin.org

Use the various bsaa codes found on Queen-Zenobia.com to access files and pictures. Currently only the first two passwords work and there is no new information revealed yet that we don't already know but it is sure to be updated regularly.

Now all we need them to do is drop Resident Evil from the title and we're sorted.

Basically,

Ooze is what an infected person ends up as after being infected with "T-Abyss". Once the virus gets into a body, it units with the cell membranes and makes them start absorbing an abnormal amount of water.
The cell membranes swell up with the osmotic pressure and in the end and they collapse as if they melted away. When this phenomenon happens throughout the body of a human being, the infected person's body changes as if they had been drowned, they become sodden and almost liquefy.
"T-Abyss" continues its propagation and craves more water and nutrients, which drives the body of the host. This impulse is the reason why ooze sucks fluid from the body of its victims.

*They move and shamble exactly like zombies
*Instead of biting you a protrusion emanates from their mouths and try to suck all the fluids out of your body
*They also do this to corpses, mimicking the good old days when you would come across several zombies eating a body on the floor.

You will encounter several different variations of human Ooze. Roughly 1 in every 1000 humans have an increased resistance to the virus resulting in a longer and more drawn out infection time and reaining their humanity for longer.

Basically they are as similar as you can get without actually being 'zombies'.

I agree. Work commitments have ensured I have only got up to chapter 10 at the moment but I am more than happy with this game. Not super scary but definitely tense with a good blend of action without going over the top.

Characters are good, surprisingly I find Quint and Keith to be not as irritating as I thought they would.

Invisible Hunters...awesome.

Plenty of files and cutscenes (though none of them dated, grrrr!)

Queen Zenobia is a good location with plenty of nods to the old games. Fully explorable despite the chapter structure.

Story is actually quite deep and may take a few playthroughs to understand it all fully and who'd have thought that would be possible from a Resident Evil game...

It has a few flaws of course but for me the best Resident Evil game since Remake.

Following concerns that the lack of information on Biohazard Damnation may have led to its cancellation or possible evolvement into Biohazard 6 , Biohaze has contacted Sony Pictures Japan about the situation and fear not, the movie is still on track.

Never trust an article that mentions Wesker clones as it clearly proves they don't know what they are talking about.

What a stupid puzzle. Can't do it. Keep getting locked out. If its totally random why do you only get three attempts?

Anyone got a spare code?

I was talking this over with my brother, and a friend of ours. We've all come with the conclusion that the Merc in RE6 could be in fact Steve Burnside. Now I know it could be a long shot but it could be true, so here are the things that could prove Steve is in the game.

1. Hair Color: The Merc seems to have a bit of a shade of red and/or orange in his hair, even thought the Merc is shaved.

2. Eye Color: The Merc has a blue-green type or just plain old blue eyes, and if you look at Steve's eyes, his are blue-green and/or Blue.

3. Ears: Steve and the Merc have the same type of ears. They have a slight point to them(don't know what the right term to it).

4. Attitude: The Merc seems to have a smart-ass attitude to the girl in the trailer. Steve did the same thing to Claire.

That is pretty much it. Now I don't if this has been posted or not, but that is my piece about the new/old character in RE6. I will try to post a photo the 2 characters soon.

Before this thread escalates into several pages of redundant theory, let us look at two simple facts:

1. Steve is quite dead.
2. He was infected with t-Veronica. t-Veronica does not revive the dead.

Wesker's saying to Claire that Steve may come back alive to see her was nothing more than a taunt. Steve's only further contribution to the story is that the virus in his body was extracted by Wesker and sold to Javier Hidalgo.

Case closed.

On the subject of the mercenary being Wesker's son:
I'm not 100%, but I remember reading a file saying the Wesker children couldn't reproduce...

The merc looks young, but i wouldn't be suprised if he turned out being 40 or so.
Even Wesker could pass for 30ish, so their features shouldn't dissprove the possibility
of him being Alex.

No you didn't because no such file exists.

No that one is 4 years old and horribly out of date now.

The new one is being worked on right now.

Putting all the talk of clones to one side for a moment, I think Capcom have hit upon a very interesting scenario with the Chris vs. Leon thing. If you think about it, people have been waiting for over a decade for these two to pair up, brothers in arms against bio-terrorism and all that, both a mutual respect of each other for previous events, Leon saving Claire etc. You'd have thought it would create an unbreakable seal of trust between both men during the events of the game.
And yet now we have this woman who let's say for argument's sake is the real Ada and for unknown reasons she has become the villain of the piece. She is using her signature manipulation to break this trust between the two men in order to weaken her opposition and achieve her goals. All of a sudden, all the mutual respect for each other is thrown out of the window.
Capcom have the potential to take these characters to very dark, unexplored territory here, make this last the majority of the game and set up the stage for a truly shocking finale. Chris as we all know seems to have thrown the rulebook out of the window given what's happened to his team. He looks a broken man, more so than he was after Jill was taken from him in Bio5. He is more interested now in revenge rather than justice. He's prepared to commit cold-blooded murder in order to avenge the deaths of his men.
And on the other side of the coin we have Leon. A man, who like Chris fights for justice and yet the one weakness he has portrayed throughout the series is his love for Ada. I would like to see her manipulation of him slowly turn him to the darkside as the game progresses. I'd like for Capcom to make her have Leon believe that Chris is the true bad guy, that he is trying to murder his one true love.
I'm not saying the finale should be a Chris vs. Leon fight to the death or anything like that, but it is a theme I hope is present for a majority of the game and not just a quick scuffle, a brief argument then everyone is best friends again. I hope the end of the Captivate trailer is just a tease for what's really in store.

Seemingly omitting Alex Wesker in favour of randomly creating a son for Albert just beggars belief to me. I mean, although not blood-related to Albert, Alex must surely have the same rare blood type as him as he was the only other person who could successfully adapt to the Progenitor Virus.

Why create Jake to go after his 'special blood' when we already have Alex who also has this same trait?

Has this been done specifically for new audiences who haven't played Resident Evil 5 or its DLC? If so then it's a fairly big cop out to long time fans.

The Government is the main enemy. Simmons has attacked Tall Oaks because he didn't want President Bedford to reveal the whole truth about Raccoon City.

Neo-Umbrella is not a real organization and a front company Simmons has orchestrated to take the blame for the attacks. Ada Wong has been framed by Simmons for reasons as yet unknown and he has made her the face of Neo-Umbrella. But it is actually Ada's doppleganger/clone whatever you want to call it that is causing all the mayhem.

I'll bet Leon is the only one to realise something is amiss and 'Ada' isn't really who she says she is.

Leon and Helena are framed for the murder of the President, not for the incident itself.

And at this point we still don't know who Ada works for.

Yeah, it's nothing as significant as the death of Claire or anything like that.

It is the death of the BSAA team at the hands of Ada/Carla with that spiked ball thing.

What makes this different from Chris's previous experiences is that since RE5 he has been promoted from an SOA to Captain of a SOU. This is the first time he has led a team in the whole series and so these men are his responsibility. It is quite understandable that their deaths would affect him dramatically and that he feels responsible.

His head injury probably took him out of action for a while but I doubt it will be a factor in the game.
