Please, do not even mention LIN and Rebirth in the same sentence. LIN was fun for what it is, but don't mix up C- homage to the real thing. Quite honestly I'd want nothing changed, Rebirth is perfect as is. Let it render in HD and call it a day, that is it.

Today Capcom has released a second Resident Evil 6 trailer, first shown during Captivate 2012. Sherry Birkin, Wesker Jr. and Ada Wong make their official appearance on it.

The new virus in the game is called C Virus, and was the same used in Eastern Europe six months prior to Tall Oaks' outbreak. The trailer also reveals the release date has been pushed forward to October 2nd, 2012 .

IGN has confirmed that at Captivate, Capcom has revealed the addition of drop-in, drop-out online co-op for Resident Evil 6. In addition, Mercenaries will be available from the start along with more multiplayer modes to be detailed in the future. You can check out IGN's brief article here.

We're all acting like cloning wasn't even done already. As forgetful a character as Sergei Vladimir was, he is unfortunately a canon part of the series. And since he was compatible with the T-Virus 100% to create tyrants, they made 10 clones of him. And like some have already mentioned, in a series where you have super humans throwing missiles with such speed they explode on contact, genetic cloning is not so far fetched.

D.C. Douglas, voice of Albert Wesker and Legion from Mass Effect has composed one final mash-up video to say goodbye to his video game fans. Douglas admits to having no current video game roles and all of his current work is for tv and movies. As a final tribute to his loyal fans, he has produced a parody farewell video featuring none other than Wesker and Legion together.

Hi Guys,

As you all noticed Resident Evil revelations quotes heavily from Dante. Surfing the net I found a page that seems to dissect the passages at the beginning of the chapters, analyse them and give an interpretation of what they might mean in accordance to the Resident Evil Revelations Chapters.

I personally think the obsesdion with Ada is a little weirder than the Jill fanboys
I too liked Jill and still do, though she lost a lot of what made her a likable character with Biohazard 5.

Ada however was always my favorite character in the series, even pre-Biohazard 4 mind you. After reading about her vaguely in '96, it was awesome to not only come across her in Biohazard 2, but then play as her. The relationship with Leon, her faux death and most of all her mysterious intentions. She was by far one of the most interesting characters and still is. I once read in an older interview that Shinji Mikami also felt the same way, fun fact and explains her role in later titles. Then you have Biohazard 4 and eventually Separate Ways, both series importance and style points go way up. Nothing odd about it really, she's a more hands on Wesker from earlier titles, the allure is actually quite obvious to early series adapters.

Seemingly omitting Alex Wesker in favour of randomly creating a son for Albert just beggars belief to me. I mean, although not blood-related to Albert, Alex must surely have the same rare blood type as him as he was the only other person who could successfully adapt to the Progenitor Virus.

Why create Jake to go after his 'special blood' when we already have Alex who also has this same trait?

Has this been done specifically for new audiences who haven't played Resident Evil 5 or its DLC? If so then it's a fairly big cop out to long time fans.

The Government is the main enemy. Simmons has attacked Tall Oaks because he didn't want President Bedford to reveal the whole truth about Raccoon City.

Neo-Umbrella is not a real organization and a front company Simmons has orchestrated to take the blame for the attacks. Ada Wong has been framed by Simmons for reasons as yet unknown and he has made her the face of Neo-Umbrella. But it is actually Ada's doppleganger/clone whatever you want to call it that is causing all the mayhem.

I'll bet Leon is the only one to realise something is amiss and 'Ada' isn't really who she says she is.

Leon and Helena are framed for the murder of the President, not for the incident itself.

And at this point we still don't know who Ada works for.

Anybody else hyped for PSO2? I'm going to participate in the second closed beta this weekend, but open beta is supposed to be right after that unless something catastrophic happens.

Capcom will be releasing a brand new Damnation Trailer on Friday the 13th at 7:30-8:30pm at Comic-Con along with a 7 minute sneak peak of the Japanese theatrical version of the film. Following the event will be a Q&A session with Biohazard Japanese producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi and Damnation's director Makoto Kamiya.

Sweet! I can't wait! But, I have a question though. I found an article from Andriasang reporting this:
Unfortunately, the live streaming is just for the stages on July 1, the second day of the event, so you may miss out on the new Monster Hunter and Resident Evil news as it breaks on the first day.

Key attractions in the second day stage lineup include the Sengoku Basara stage at 10:30, the Street Fighter x Tekken stage at 11:25, the Resident Evil 6 stage at 13:50 and the Monster HUnter stage at 14:40.

If you live in Tokyo, then you'll get a chance to play through a demo of Biohazard 6 before the Xbox 360 demo launches on July 3. On June 30 and July 1, the CAPCOM SUMMER JAM will take place at Tokyo Big Site, where Biohazard 6 and other demos can be played. On the 30th, there will also be a stage show related to Biohazard 6, where new information may be revealed.
