Seriousily. Has anyone ever looked closely at the gun that Chris is holding for the original game? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Resid ... er_art.jpg

That thing looks bizzare. It looks like some wierd cross between a heavy machine gun and a shotgun and looks like it weighs 60 pounds. Then again the entire cover looks like an acid trip.

Such a small detail I know but I wonder everytime I look at that cover and I see that gun and that :rcg:

Few weeks before the US release of the first Resident Evil, Marvel comics released a free promotional comic (based on the upcoming game) through a Capcom giveaway. Its cover art designed by Bill Sienkiewicz was then used for the US and Eurpean game cover.

That dude is just a random character, he's not Chris.

That gun has the be one of the weirdest I've ever seen.

The butt seems to be from an M16. The Barrel looks like it's from a Pump Action Shotgun, and I don't know what the middle section is.

Anyway, the gun is particularly weird. Can't really put my eye on what it is besides a random cover gun.
