Yeah, I've got a backlog too... in the sense of not completing everything in the game.

It did, and told him to tell you that it's a TPS not action. True story.

Has anyone else checked this out yet?
its amazing! only 1 gripe i need to warn anyone who's interested:
the cg cutscenes (very few there are, most are in game cutscenes), the pause menu, & the start up main menu for each individual game are NOT rendered in HD. Honeslty seems quite silly that they aren't considering these are small portions of the game.

DMC1 will always be my favorite, so full of nostalgia. So its understandable that the sound also wasnt converted to HD

& unless you mastered DMC in its ps2 days, some of these trophies are going to make you want to pull your hair out >_<

Don't agree with you so much there. While it isn't as action oriented as DMC, it is definitely more action based than the other RE games, regardless of the viewpoint of the game.

How many people have had problems where the sound is not in sync with the video? Seen a few reports and it's worrying...

I haven't had any problems with sound out of sync.

DMC3 is deep, on the level of a fighter. It's probably the most complex system ever made for an action game at the highest level of play, hence why it remains my favorite. I'll be picking it up this summer for sure.

It's still just shooting stuff with an occasional melee attack.

DMC is all about combos and wicked moves, Yama meant it's his favorite game of that style. :P

I haven't ever touched the games myself. I was speaking purely on re4, but after watching the anime not too long ago, I have to admit I got interested in picking this up. Just out of curiosity does the anime follow Dante's character attitude and personality closely from the games?

I believe so, but I've only read the manga. The anime seemed kinda.....meh compared to the games, as most media does when it's taking plots from somewhere else.
