Actually I love Breath of Fire 3, i own the original Playstation release and PSP remake in both English and Japanese. I even still have my BOF 3 and 4 strategy guides lol

Momo is cute and can do everything well but her accuracy is terrible.

There is nothing wrong with Peco, if you put him under Bunyan or Fahl he is AMAZING.

Most people are just too lazy to level him since he comes at level 1.

Also, I find if you tutor Momo under the master D'lonzo, her accuracy problems almost vanish. She gets a boost to it under that master.

Anyway, I'm pleased to hear someone else uses Nina. She is very underrated in my opinion, everyone seems to think she's the worst character in the game but I really don't see it. She kills entire parties with her multihit spells for me.

I love the tutor system, it helps deepen the game by making the characters customizable but the characters don't all have generic stats.

I've used Nina since BOF 1 before I knew much about gameplay mechanics or balance. I just did it because my sister liked watching me play as Nina because they have the same name. With that said, she's an absolute beast in every game. I think the only magician better in the BOF series is Bleu and even then its marginal.

I dunno I've never cared for Peco I just thought the sound he made was cute. I'll give him props tho my sister uses him well.

BOF3 is the only one I've ever played, I knew every main character in that series was named Ryu, but there is also a Nina in every game too? Hm.

Yep all of the BOF games are pretty good. Even Dragon Quarter is very fun, it doesn't fit in as a Breath of Fire game but its still a damn good game.

I notice you play either the last or middle games in most RPG series got into gaming during the PSX/Saturn/N64 age huh?

Nah. NES was my first console. BOF3 was just the only Breath of Fire game I have been able to find.

As for Star Ocean, the first game in that series wasn't available in america until the PSP remake.

Lol Sorry it just seemed like it since theres a lot of SNEs games you haven't played. Like Bf 1 and 2 and Ogre Battle.

and Yes, the whole Fallout series is RPGs, as is Rent a Hero and even to some extent Shenmue.

I had no interest in RPGs when I first got into games.

Lol I was born to play RPGs. When my mom was pregnant she played games like Phantasy Star on Master System and Final Fantasy on NES. Then when I popped out by 2 going on 3 I was playing around with Dragon Quest and Zelda 2. By 4 I had beaten Phantasy Star 1 and 2 as well as Dragon Quest and Ultima 3. Then Rent a Hero came out on Megadrive, I got my hands on that and that most likely when I decided games was the thing for me.

I was actually thinking earlier today that you'd be able to enjoy my RPG collection. Its full of quirky games, all of the Ogre battle games, all of the Star Ocean games, most of the Front Mission Games, most of the Tales games, all of the Final Fantasy games (yep even mystic quest) and a whole bunch more things like Odin's Sphere, Grim Grimoire and Steambot Chronicles.
