Another reason why I lament over getting rid of my old Amiga Commodore 1200.

Count me on the Saturn list too, for now anyway. Taking inventory of my shelf, probably going to be selling a lot in a month or two because it's mostly just sitting collecting dust. As you can see its crammed away in an area with heaps of random junk mostly. Here is my shelves (barring a couple of things I'm lending to people) for now anyway:

Main shelf; front row: Top - PSP, PS3, Middle - PS2, Saturn, Bottom - Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1

Box sets - RE1 and 2 PC, MGS LE, MGS4, God of War Trilogy, Portal 2, RE5, Assassins Creed 2 (in back), AvP (also in back), GTA4 (back right), Duke Nukem Forever.


Guides - Various guides for games, some I picked up for $1 and don't have the games anymore.


Some consoles and boxes - PS2 is in the bag, box is away with my Rock Band stuff.

You all need to get yourselves a Commodore Amiga.

I had an Amiga 3000 in the early 90's. I think the last thing I played on it was Mortal Kombat II. :p

Amiga, phenomenal? First time for everything I suppose. I have a Saturn as well, but not many games to go with it. My collection is in plastic storage containers, wrapped in giant ziplocks... not making this up, so taking a pic is pointless I suppose.

Rombie, that MGS1 collector box still reminds me of my idiocy of not picking up the JPN one for $70CAD in 1999.. which was the MSRP for regular edition games back then. I see you actually bought a new PS3 slim; thought it was a loaner.

My dead fat 20GB unit was eventually sold for parts. Still baffled that I got a YLOD and a short wire on the eject button on that, yet I have a working Japanese launch PS2, which were notoriously unreliable.

I have most current stuff in my room, while all of the collectors items and old goodies are stored in boxes through out my attic. Kind of impossible to gather it all up for a pic, or at least it takes more effort than I'm willing to do at the moment. One day if I was to be a home owner or if I had a spare room in an apartment, I would love to make a room filled with it all. Every time I go through my attic I end up cracking up at stuff I didn't even know I had, I'd love to have it all out at once.

SG - I wish I had put some of the older consoles away, I've had a few issues with my old house and damp/moisture issues.

PS3 - I borrowed my friends for a week while I was finding out what could be done about my old PS3. I purchased a new one after that happened because I wasn't happy with what I found out. I'll send you a PM with the longer version because it's just not suitable to post here.

That MGS box will be one of the things I won't be getting rid of anytime soon. :D
