And I don't think Moira living through that was because the virus somehow gave her healing powers or something. Especially since we don't see anything expounding on that or any effects of the virus in her at all in the Struggle DLC.

The director confirmed that t-Phobos healed her through adaptation since she conquered fear. Not that he needed to since that's the only way she could've survived being crushed by rubble.

Newsbot to the rescue!

Also I posted the REV2 file translations in the Translation Emporium topic not too long ago. I've made small changes and corrections since but the gist is the same.

The C-Virus had no rhyme or reason to it really.

how would it give an invisibility trait to the Iluzja for instance?

when you mix the C with Jake's blood it becomes nonsensical even.
transforming into giant dinosaurs then transforming back, then a giant fly etc.
this was my least favorite virus in the series.

I guess as mentioned in the Marhawa Desire thread a lot of the C mutations derived from the Ada cloning experiments.

I'm going to post something on this later (not feeling up to going too far into it yet), but I actually disagree with this

So the virus just healed her and nothing else? That seems weird. And I already figured that Moira would get powers like Natalia if she died via accident or whatever.

The Enhanced C-Virus is even more convoluted because of that. Its mutations are just so random! One person injects themselves with it and they grow a new arm that shoots lightening. Another injects themselves with it and they turn into a goo monster. And another gets injected with it and he turns into an organic Transformer. How the hell does any of that work?

Also Morpheus Duvall is a Tyrant adaptation.

Enhanced C is all over the place. I made a post just now in "favorite viruses" defending the C-virus against claims of inconsistency, but Enhanced C is much harder to defend.

And considering the tg virus contained t, I would definitely agree on Morpheus.

I think Diego Gomez would count as a Tyrant like adaptation due to, well, what he looks like. This becomes more especially obvious when he fuses with Glenn and they turn into the more traditional looking Tyrant we know. Not sure what Maria would be though.

I think the novelization even calls him a tyrant, and says he was infected with both the a-virus and a special strain of t.
Has it been confirmed that the a-virus is a new strain of t?

They don't really say what strain it originated from, only that it has plaga in it to give it its more unique traits. But we're lead to assume it's probably the t-virus and that it is a new strain of t.

Just hope it and the mold are related to progenitor in some way. That REALLY bugged me with Los Plagas.

Wait, does anyone know if the virus in Voice of Gala is in any way related to Progenitor? If not, that's worse than singing to zombies and whales.
