Been trying to do a "handgun only" run of the game, and I've found that many of the bosses can be taken down with just the handgun, even Tyrant and Gravedigger! However, I've hit a stumbling block against bosses like Talos, where having a full-auto weapon is practically a must.. Has anyone else tried doing this?

Well unlimited ammo or no, the handgun is little more than a pop-gun by the time you're facing Nemesis on the roof of RPD. A friend and I beat him together with just HGs, but I haven't been able to beat him alone with just the HG, yet.
