Ikari: Is Dead Factory also part of the campaign or just multiplayer map?

Don't quote me on this since I've only been through the campaign one time (working through professional now but been mostly focusing on multiplayer). But, I believe you do go through the dead factory at one point during the campaign but I'm not 100% certain.

But, pretty much every multiplayer map is taken from the campaign to begin with so. They're just altered a bit. But, they're the same locations you visit in the campaign. So I would assume I am correct and Dead Factory is visited in campaign for that reason alone.

Dead Factory is not in the campaign. You begin a level outside it and a member of your team comments why it still has power after you have just shut off the grid. For some reason, OPRC has the Dead Factory as a massive, sprawling power plant which kind of defeats its purpose as in Biohazard 3 it is meant to look like a disused plant so it will not attract any attention.

Did any of Slant-Six even play Resident Evil? Did they know what it was outside of "that game in Spain where you save the preident's hot daughter and that chinese lady is there too"?

Based on ORC level of story I will predict this DLC story:

"Spec Ops team, go here and do this"
"Yes sir"
"And save this STARS member and defeat Nemesis while you do it"
-You go some place fight a few generic USS members on the way, have a fight with Nemesis, mission ends immediatly-

Only 1 mission from the first expansion pack? Sounds like a DLC demo.

No, the Spec Ops campaign is divided in missions. The first is free, the rest are going to be paid. This is the only expansion pack confirmed.

Sounds like the Spec Ops campaign should have been in the game to begin with, yet they're peddling it as DLC.

That's terrible. but i didn't expect any less from capcom. especially after the SFxT incident
