Drop-in Drop-Out? Like Re5's?? Or even better? That would be cool

EDIT: And Split screen to the rescue!!!!

That would be cool if they had drop-in drop-out in Mercs. I don't want any more than 2 people in mercs though

Not a big fan of BH5's co-op, only because of how limited it was. If this time around is more open ended than it could be a great success.

I think overall I have grown accustomed to co-op in RE games. I always imagined it since RE2 when Leon had Ada following him. How if you just let the zombies get close enough to her, she would shoot at them and save you ammo.

I'm personally glad it is back. It is also a lot better that they fixed the co-op joining issues I had with RE5. Waiting to get into a co-op game because I can't join until the host dies or passes the chapter (or restarts the chapter? I forget this part). Split screen is ALWAYS a major plus. It is actually what I am going to do first so I can enjoy the game at my own pace with family or friends that can respect the need for being quiet during cutscenes.

Can't believe that they'll have read fan feedback from Resident Evil 5 and thought: "Yes, let's definitely force co-op on people again!"

With any luck they won't be asking for a word of advice on partner AI from Slant Six anyway.

More modes, always good of course. If Raid doesn't make it Capcom have really dropped the ball though. Likely another of those "We're the good guys and we listened to the community again!" and then drop it as paid-for DLC after the game has released.

For co-op, it would be nice if they took a page from Demon's/Dark Souls and allowed you to set your name-sign on the ground whenever you felt it was necessary to use a little help on a specific area or boss fight during single-player; you'd have to be connected to the network of course. Then if someone came across your user-name on the ground, they could summon you; or vice versa.
