I was really disappointed that even RE5 Gold Edition was exactly the same as the normal one, with only a code and a different jacket. I guess from a business standpoint though, it make a whole lot of sense not to modify and reprint the discs, or in any case, make an extra disk.

It's not a better deal, the 15th box had physical copies. I'll gladly pay 120 bucks for this to have a second disk with all the games on it.

Like a true collection.

Agreed. If its included in a retail copy it should be physical, not download vouchers.

That's because you bought the 360 version, the ps3 had all dlc on disc but required an 8gb install, is that really better than a download?

Without starting more console wars, I would say it is worth it. Most games look far superior on the Blu-ray than they do a a normal dvd. I'd rather have the install and the better graphics.

Mmm, RE5 actually had tearing and missed some textures in the water on the PS3 version. That's the case in most multiplatform games... the 360 version is superior.

From a collectors view the bundle isn't worth much. But its actually a really good deal for anyone who doesn't have most of that stuff already. $30 for 4-5 games and a movie is a pretty great deal considering their individual prices.

This bundle isn't for RE fans but for new gamers who will start with 6. The game is obviously hyped up and anticipated by many including non fans so.

I'm sure capcom will release a fan oriented bundle at some point.

It was actually a 6GB install and yes it is better, way better since the content isn't linked to an account but to the disk.

That's why I don't even bother with GOTY editions that have a mere sheet with codes. Gold edition on PS3 did it best.

Gold Edition only did codes on xbox because of dvd size limitations compaired to bluray.

Resident evil 2 and 3 are about 1.5 gb, and re4hd I don't know, re5 ge full sized is 10gb, I don't know the size of re6, but even blurays have their limit of 50gb. Even this still wouldn't explain why they had to be digital, the jak and daxter collection had all games on disc and didn't require an install.

However they probably didn't give the ps3 a leg up because capcom seems to be giving the 360 all the glow.
