Continuing the tradition of releasing RE themed pachinko machines, Capcom will be releasing a Revelations 1 one as well. Aside from a video, a release date hasn't been provided yet.

Marza will also be releasing a free PS VR Vendetta experience on May 24 (at least in Japan) where you'll experience an event as a zombie

Thanks to Biohazard France for the heads up.

I will never understand the appeal of making video game franchises into gambling machines. It's such a cop out and lazy way to make money.

*shrugs* Slot machines have always just been really big in Japan, of course they're going to want to corner the market there. Especially since Biohazard is more popular in Japan than it is over in America and Europe, I think. Besides, I personally never saw any harm in having a few one-off adaptations in RE/BIO.

Res 7 Japan sales were abysmal, awful.

I meant all around sales not just one title. Do you see arcade machines, stage productions, and theme attractions/restaurants centered around Biohazard/Resident Evil in the States or the UK? No? I rest my case.

Well... Europe and America are simply bigger markets. Japan is always going to look small by comparison.

I don't know what it is about the RE pachislots, but their music is always ballin'. Just listen to that vocal track!

This reminds me of when Konami canceled Silent Hills and gave us that slot-machine a few months thereafter. Is it any wonder there hasn't been a real Silent Hill sequel in years now when they don't give a shit anymore? Playing Silent Hill 3 recently, I couldn't help but feel sad they left my no. 2 series to die from neglect.
