I'm actually surprised you guys mentioned that. I am a lowly level 20 and I'll have level 50 players allow me to go to the Ghost Ship- but they conk out before I do! Or they hit the goal midway because they're too slow to realize there are 15 locked doors. :|

By the time I get to the level 40 monsters I have some real troubles.

OK I think I've figured out why people put themselves to level 1 and hit the first goal on Ghost Ship.

There are things called "infection missions" and you get them from different players online after completing a stage. Since Ghost Ship is the shortest mission when you hit the first goal, they use this mission to quickly get these "infection missions". I guess they put themselves down to level 1 so you know they're not serious about completing the stage.

Anyway, that's what I've figured out by looking around online. I was really confused about this myself, and still am trying to figure out what exactly "infection missions" are and what you get from them. I need to play online more lol

What's the deal with some of the enemies having names with some of the people I have played Raid Mode on Co-op with in the past? Anyone explain it? It unlocks an achievement and I'm confused as hell.

For example, I played a game with Timmy666 and a few days later, I was shooting a Hunter who had Timmy 666 above his head and when I capped him it was like "Yay, you achieved this zip-boopity bee bop." You know what I mean. :\

About the Ghost ship and people hitting the first exit, and player names in missions, all related.

Everytime you beat a level with someone you get a mission, it could be "Kill 20 Hunters" or "Kill 10 blobs on a beach", sometimes you get told a level, a difficulty and a player name of someone you played with, where an enemy on that level gets the name and you need kill it. Is just a normal enemy with special name.

You get rewards for the missions, sometimes just more money to spend, sometimes a weapon or upgrade part as prize. It is the easiest and fastest way to get level 50 weapons, just play Ghost Ship, hit first exit, new mission. Build up a bunch of them and one playthrough of a level that contains several missions could reap massive rewards.

I tried Ghost Ship last night on solo. I got though the whole level and was about to kill the final form abyss, when suddenly he grabs me by the head, I'm pressing Y a thousand times over to get free and in less than a second, he kills me.

I was so mad and haven't tried since, because it took more than half an hour to get to that part. I will soon try again, but I hate failing lol

I love this mode so much. I'm almost to level 50, which upsets me, cause I have an addiction to leveling up. I love the communication feature. I love making Parker tell others he's taking them out to lunch. xD

What all lines you can say? Thanks, Go, Wait, Come here?

Each character has a different way of saying 'Thanks'. And various ways of saying wait, go on, and come here. It's really neat to just try out all the characters and see what they say.
