Well obviously Resident Evil counts, and Jurassic Park.

Any more you can note down? :mikami:

When did Dino Crisis reference Resident Evil? That's almost interesting for you.

Same company. Similar gameplay. Umbrella logos appear on the large crates in the loading bay. And Jill has a Regina costume in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.

Dino Crisis has been called a spin off from Resident Evil in that it is like Resident Evil, with dinosaurs rather than zombies.

Same company and creator, they have some similarities but their gameplay isn't similar at all, especially Dino Crisis 1.
They boths feature third person camera, but Dino Crisis 1 is completely in 3D, this means no static camera and no 2D prerendered backgrounds like in RE1,2,3. Also, you can't aim up and down but u can aim and shoot while slow walking, the exact opposite of RE.
Dino Crisis 2 looks more similar to RE because it features 2D prerendered backgrounds, but there is more action and you can now run while aiming and shooting, in RE you can't.

btw, talking about references, ther is one about "The Flintstones" at the very beginning of the game during the conversation between Rick and Regina after the first Raptor attack.

I remember seeing them. I have no idea where to find pics of them though.

Do you remember the puzzles where you have to use a crane to move all these boxes to get a key or something. in Dino Crisis 1? The box's had the Umbrella Logo printed on them. They may have been in some other areas too.

Makes you wonder if RE and DC are in the same universe sometimes lol.

Really? It seems there is a mistake in the in the Italian subtitles of the PAL version, because I clearly remember that Rick says "Gli antenati" the alternative title of "The Flintstones" cartoon in Italy... It's Capcom's fault, not mine.

Really? Wow haha, never knew that. In the voice acting and script, Rick just says "So... who was it? Barney?".

Suppose we should just take it as a two-bird one-stone thing.

Just watched that cutscene on youtube and u'r right, Rick clearly says "Who was it? Barney?".
I suppose the translator did that mistake because The Flintstones protagonist is called Barney too, he was abviously an Italian translator because no one in Italy knows the British show "Barney the Dinosaur".
And since Regina was talking about a huge lizard and not about a prehistoric human... i suppose that translator was not only ignorant but even retarded.
