Game-Stop has announced that there will be a bonus map for those who pre-order Resident Evil 6, whether this is an actual map or a new level you wont see this on the Website, but step inside the store and you are bound to see a trailer and the said message.

Likely a Raid/Mercs map that'd be available later on. Would seemingly confirm there'll be additional DLC after the game's release.

Wasn't there was an article way back that mentioned the extra maps? Gamestop didn't say anything about it, but they did encourage me to pre-order as soon as possible. :P

Hopefully just Mercenaries maps. They'll be definitely available to everyone else later, though (see ORC's "exclusive" Weapons Packs).

I wouldn't be surprised if the inevitable Collector's Edition contained all of the retailer-specific preorder maps, much like ORC's CE contained all of the retailer-specific DLC weapons packs.
