lol i have to say, its quite a neat way to reintroduce a game with the old char.

This is already a must for me, this is what Dead Rising 2 should be. Frank all the way!

If it's a full price $60 game, then I'll just rent it. I'm not buying the same game a second time just to play as Frank through it. Not worth it at all, especially since chuck is just as good. :3

Is this a DLC add-on like Case Zero/Case West or a full game?

I just thought of something though, what if they made a DLC version that let people with the original DR2 play with people who have this version? That would make it pretty awesome imo.

Well atleast the objective,boss and survivors are different. they just using the old assets to speed the development progress. I'lll still buy regardless :P

Wish there's no more TIR trophy or achievement. its already hard to get certain gametype to appear and let alone to win it ;/ (i suck at certain game)

Idea is nice but I much prefer the Chuck Version. Chuck is far more likable than Frank (for me). I'd probably give it a try though. The one thing I do like is that co-op allows one as Frank and one as Chuck rather than two Chuck's.

Though if it's the 'ultimate' edition, I wonder if it will include the original Chuck version of the game on the disc or with it bundled as well?

Sorry for bumping such an old topic but I just beat 2(Loved it) and looked at the trailer for this. The new content is cool and all(still wanting a STARS outfit) but the thing I hope changes the most is

So this Off The Record thing is an alternate, non-canon universe or will they ignore DR2 altogether?

They said in a recent interview its a "Fan's Version" of Dead Rising 2, same setup but West's actions 100% differ from Chuck's. Chuck's still there just secondary to Frank. I also want to know alternate reality or all in Frank's head?
