So i asked yesterday whether (from CVX's scans) the games assets (lighting, background, animations) had been changed up, but i wasn't sure if it was my memory having not played the game in so long.

However... Pretty obvious that Capcom look to be actually doing a decent bit of "touching up" for this title as opposed to rushing it through some porting software! Would certainly say the latest screenshot looks so much better than the original.





My undying love for Resident Evil 4 is noted more than enough, but i can't wait to play this one probably equally as much now!

The lighting is obviously improved (and looks great), and the graphics look crisper, but I'm not sure what else they have in store. I don't know if those two things are enough to warrant a re-purchase of the same game. Methinks there should be some exclusive extras (new weapons, new mini-games)...

It surely couldn't be that hard to throw in some extra story files either...

I remember reading something on Allyson Court's twitter about recording voice overs. Maybe they re-did the voice overs in this version? Or maybe she was just talking about Mercenaries 3DS....

And yeah, it definitely is improved. There are some screenshots from Famitsu that show the lightning and textures have been greatly improved.

The image on the first page of the scans of Steve dual-wielding was the immediate standout for me, just looked a lot murkier than i remember the game being.

The blood sure looks more damp on the ground in the first screenshot. Sure hope the new lighting will be enough to scare us all over again... The window moment (in the same room) with the handgun ammo will be way more intense than before.

NICE!!!... ohhh also if anyone noticed... it seems like they adjusted the camera angles (compare both pics)... and hopefully they fix steves hair and voice (sucked in CV (DC) and CVX (PS2)... ohh and hopefully alfreds voice is still that of a high pitched whiny psycho...

Dear god I hope they re-record Steve's VO's for this game... he was the worst part about Code Veronica... hard to care about him when he dies, if he is so god damn annoying... I felt more happy than anything when he bit the dust... but yeah, the screens look awesome... almost makes me consider buying the game for the third freakin' time.

Are you kidding, the Dark Side Chronicles version was even worse!
