Anyway, it looks pretty cool. Also, I didn't really think too much about the BSAA Jill. She didn't say it was the best RE 'because' it has more females. She said she thinks it was the best RE she's played and then went on to also mention that girl gamers have more to work with because of the new females. It came off as two seperate statements to me. I didn't take it like "Well it's the best RE because it has more females."

She was also on the winning team so she couldn't be that dense or bad. It's not like that japanese girl during the Revelations demo who laughed and giggled more than she did anything else in the demo.

Ah, you can't even barely see me in there. Which I prefer :)



I know it's all a group effort but she was actually the weak link on their team. Like, really weak. Which frustrates me even more that my team lost to them by such a small margin! Ragghhh!! *rips out hair* ahem.

I will say this though, I agree and like that ORC has more female characters in it. Especially that these new characters aren't there to add to the sex appeal factor either. You all may have noticed Rachel in Revelations who shows off her chest and that particular wet suit that Jessica wears showing some leg. Kawata himself said that the Japanese often focus on creating "good looking" characters. Having Slant Six create Lupo, Four-Eyes, and Bertha is a good switch I feel, at the least interesting.

Yeah, I don't mind more females in the games as long as they aren't for sex appeal like the examples you gave, Wolf. Also, the name Bertha sounds like a somewhat heavy-set, austrian woman who may or may not have a temper.

I didn't say that exactly. I just said the way the footage was, it sounded like that was the only reason she personally liked the game. That's why I added the ellipses to indicate 2 separate things :)

Honestly, I was staring at those USS jackets to listen to their winning interview. Those jackets look amazing. I like how their character names were added as patches.

I do like the new female additions to the cast, though sometimes I don't get the outfits. (Would you really wear a uniform that is that low cut while dealing with biological warfare?).

Yeah same here. I'm sick of the stereotypical action-packed femme-fetals with huge breasts beating the hell out of everything. That's just not realistic to me. Lupo, Bertha and Four Eyes all look like real people with real personalities and pasts. And they don't have huge breasts that are being focussed on in every shot of them we see. But Lupo's low-cut shirt does kind of confuse me. Everyone else is armored all over. Then again, Four Eyes doesn't have protective eye-wear either.

Bertha's still the only interesting one of the group to me so far, and that's out of the men too. The whole black motif with gas mask look really doesn't help sell them as individual unique chars to me and takes away from their personality.

Not looking for busty babes with lots of cleavage, just something a bit more personal. Like in Outbreak, all different chars with different looks and none of the girls for example were showing off cleavage or skimpy skirts (unless you went with alt. outfits). But, Cindy B, the baby blue blouse with the khaki capris was my fav outfit of hers. It promoted her personality perfectly.

I think Bertha would look fine in her outfit if she didn't have the gas mask I think. Her outfit already kinda has that Hostel Doctor look to it, just remove the lame gas mask to show her sinister face and it'd probably work better for me. If they need something on her face, give her some goggles or something.

Just a personal opinion though.

Lupo and Vector are the most interesting for me. Lupo because she actually killed someone with her bare hands to protect her child. She definitely earned the name Lupo. And Vector's awesome because he trained under HUNK and even broke out of his neck breaker.

Bertha and Beltway are probably the most mental characters. I hear Bertha's a master of torture and Beltway liked to play pranks on people and eventually took it too far and lost his leg in an explosion or something strange/awesome like that. I'm not really interested in Specter at all. Four Eyes is probably my third favorite behind Vector and Lupo.
