I have my moments of ups and downs, even contradicting sometimes.

But his opinion insulting RE4, 5, Revelations, and 6 (not out yet...) ... is much too extreme for me. Considering Operation Raccoon City is an action game in its own right, it does nothing to satisfy my craving for classic RE. It falls well below the standards of being better than any of the other "action" games seen in RE4 and up.

I don't usually go out of my way to point out a completely ridiculous opinion. But here I am.

I agree, the AI isn't and never was all that bad.

You mean outside of being useless? Standing on top of fire and showing no personal concern that they're burning and dying? Standing out in the open shooting with no regard for the fact they're being shot at and killed? Standing over your dead body with no intelligence to revive you? Running into walls and getting stuck or lost in levels? Firing at walls or ceilings? Standing around and watching you take on 15 zombies while they just stare? Tossing grenades at your feet when you're being grappled by a zombie? Being at a pixel of health and constantly running away from you whenever you run up to them to try and heal them?

Yeah, they're certainly not all that bad :P

I know I'm really late, but thanks for the reviews Ikari & others, it's about what I expected...

It's insulting that this game was expected to replace the greatness of Outbreak, I'll stick to playing that single player if I ever feel like having fun in my favorite zombie infested city.

It's a nice point between RE5 and Revelations, dumber than Sheva, but much more useful than Parker.

Lol parker was way better than uss ai. Yeah he was useless but he didn't constantly get himself killed, get in my way etc. And he was often a good distraction for enemies.

USS are just idiots who do nothing and constantly die and get in my way and cause me problems.

The AI in ORC sucks ass. Parker didn't interfere with me once.

The Melee is COMPLETELY FUCKING BROKEN.

I have not been able to, but I've never really tried either. You must really need to excel on all counts for it on Veteran.

I finally got S+ on Expendable. I always select Bertha because she's the most helpful of the AIs. She will occasionally heal me and if any enemies come close to her, she will use her brutal kill for the possibility of an herb drop. I avoid Vector for reasons mentioned above, ha. I was Four Eyes, but she is one that is always present for her Anti-Virus sprays.

A lone wolf option would have been nice, but this is how I've been treating my offline experience anyway.

Exactly, he doesn't do anything. The USS still kill things and help out regardless of how much they disregard their own safety, and you're not punished for it like in RE5.
