Lol, I got 'warned' on gamefaqs and had my account pretty much locked in many ways for posting an impressions topic of the game on the 360 board. Apparently someone marked me for moderation and cited I had an illegal rom of the game despite the fact my original post blatantly says I BOUGHT the game.

Oh gamefaqs, I <3 you and your inability to read and have stupid moderators.


Anyway, I'll stress that the single player is abysmal and dumb. However, we all knew this game was pretty much for multiplayer only. So if you had intended to buy it for online multiplayer, I don't see a reason to cancel it. If I had read everything I wrote here before buying the game, I still would have bought it because I wanted it to play an RE title online.

It's sorta like Outbreak in that the single player is pretty much worthless, but, the online looks like it could be fun.

I wish I could give multiplayer impressions but, regardless, that's where my 'hopes' lie. That it'll at least be mindless fun multiplayer experience.

More than just playing levels over and over? I just realized I laid for this game not knowing mug of anything about it. I jut saw raccoon city and some old RE enemies and said "sold!"

Finally got some people to play multiplayer with. Team Attack is like a combo of Slayers and Survivors from RE5 versus together. You get points for killing enemies and other players.

Need to play more before I can give real impressions though. And yea you can level up but ill explain more later after I've got more multiplayer time in.

Heroes Mode is dumb. If you die you respawn as a spec ops or uss. You only get one life as a hero. They have more health and if all heroes on a team die you lose. Its super dumb though. Within 2 minutes of match start I killed the Ada and Nicholai on the other team. They didn't even get to do anything as the chars and rage quit once they realized they couldn't use them anymore.

Worthless mode that totally sucks the fun out of using RE chars.

I never liked the AI in Outbreak or RE5. I can't expect this to be any better, especially from the videos I was shown about Slant Six's earlier work with SOCOM.

We all knew this would be action shlock story and action wise, and I'm not surprised this hasn't changed a bit.

The multiplayer is the real sell here. So yes, unless you're a collector I see no reason to buy this game if you have no intentions to play it with others.

Played a lot of multiplayer for the last three hours. It is fun but its still a generic third person shooter with zombies and BOWs thrown in. Don't expect anything special from it.

With that said, it still is fun. My main gripe is on level selection though. Not a single level from the actual games is there except the stagla gas station. No clock tower, no hospital and certainly no RPD. Birkins lab is a multiplayer level but it doesn't resemble anything from RE2 at all. Its birkins lab in name only.

One level is called Dead Factory but it doesn't look like the dead factory from RE3 as far as I saw but I only played on it once so. Everyone seems to always vote for the stagla level on majority.

I do like the multiplayer but it'd have been better if you fought on maps which induced nostalgia and fanservice.

Instead you play on maps with a very basic Raccoon City theme.
