Gamefaqs message boards? sure, just give me a minute to slip into my hazmat suit.

If you say so. My commiserations in any case - it's quite unfortunate you've experienced these bugs and glitches on a regular basis.

The campaign is the multiplayer as far as I'm concerned. For me there is little point in distinguishing the campaign from versus because there's meant to be a story in place. To each their own.

Considering 99.9% of the glitches, bugs etc happen in versus, not campaign, yea.......

There is a difference between multiplayer versus and multiplayer campaign. That difference is in the amount of players in one game. That could account to more glitches being encountered during versus more often than campaign. The loading involved is also more steep in versus than campaign mode. There are so many factors to consider when comparing the two game types.

I only ever experienced one glitch in campaign mode and that was shooting at a licker and having my bullets go right through it. Other than that, campaign has been very smooth with other online players. But then I go to Versus and get hit with all kinds of glitches and game freezing moments. I don't know why that is, but it's a pretty significant shift from playing campaign with little flaws.

So this is particularly why I do not compare my campaign experience with my versus experience.

I had one freeze-up @ multi-player, during Nemesis mode.

But seeing as how this topic is about multiplayer tips - could someone actually give their advice? What guns to use? What "spec"? Also one issue I have a lot is due to my poor eyesight I have a hard time seeing enemies, so by the time I see them I am already dead. I guess I am still too new to this and I assume knowing the maps is a key to success just like it was in RE5... But it's hard to really try and do something when you constantly get killed. Also, does level seriously not have any impact? Cause I can swear to god the higher lvls seem to kill you faster...
Another issue is usually I get USS teams and have to fight Spec-ops... ANd USS are much easier to see than spec-ops due to their camo clothes. it's seriously impossible to see them sometimes. Anyone feel the same?

Also, what mode to start out with?

Ah, I wish the map wasn't such a prevalent component in Versus. Coming out of Uncharted's multiplayer, I'm used to looking for other player's names. Here, like on RE5, you have to almost constantly look at the mini-map cause other players spot you much sooner than they otherwise would have.

I actually agree with Ikari for once. I watch gameplay videos to watch gameplay, at no point do I think "Hey, I'm in the mood for watching some cunt murping his opinions at me during a video game!"

Juggernaut (shotgun) is a great weapon to use. Most of the time in versus, you get into close quarter fights, that is when it comes in handy. Party girl is particularly useful because she has an ability to show every enemy on the mini-map with the press of a button. Fully upgrade that. Even cloaked players can be seen on the map. I haven't used anyone else but her every time I am a spec op.

Levels do not have an impact on how fast someone kills you. It's more about how long they've played and them getting used to a certain play style. The level itself reflects how much playing they have done, but doesn't give them special advantages. Though there are special bonuses brought on by character special abilities when used, getting tthem temporary advantages like incendiary rounds.

By mode to start on, what are you referring to?

Learn your maps. Its much easier to do anything if you know the level well. First thing I always do the second I spawn every time is run for am ammo box to max out ammo. Juggernaut starts with 40 ammo each spawn but can have a max of 60. Many guns work the same.

Next I run and grab a first aid and an anti-viral spray. If you know the level right, all of that should take you like 20 seconds to achieve.

Next, hopefully you have someone with threat scanner on the team so you can see the red dots and know where enemies are. Paying attention to mini map is important.

If someones shooting at you but you can't tell where its coming from just look at the direction of your reticule. It'll tell you.

Weapon wise, juggernaut and mob special are two of the most popular. But whatever you want is fine so long as its not default guns.

Samurai Edge is a great handgun choice.

Other than that, go check my orc survival guide which already covers most of this, which is one of the reasons I didn't start a 'tips' discussion here in the first place. Redundant topic.
