The latest attempt by Congress to try to regulate and control the Internet is no longer known as SOPA but CISPA: the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act. The SOPA-like bill would give companies the power to collect information on their subscribers and hand it over to the government and all they have to do is request it. Kendall Burman, senior national security fellow for the Center for Democracy and Technology, joins Liz Wahl to talk about what this means for online freedoms.

No matter what these people do- nothing is going to change and none of it will make it in stone. I mean, technically the content that's online is supposed to be regulated anyway, but as long as the internet is accessible to the population, shit's gonna happen. Just because it's gotten out of control and people have near complete freedom, doesn't mean it can even be regulated. Just too big.

truthfully I kinda don't care anymore... I really only use the internet for gaming, designing, and chatting... not much to take from there... I just lost interest in other areas of the Internet...
