Do you think what happens in Resident Evil could really happen in real life? That people could really turn into zombies?

If I did I would fly to NY and hang out with Yama, seeing as he would own them all just with a knife.

Actually, there is a pretty interesting read on this in Resident Evil Archives if any of you have it. For one something of a Biohazard could happen, but not nessasarily in the form of what we saw in the Resident Evil games. There could be problems with medicine and such at the level it is at now, but because it's a game look at just how sloppily the virus was spread in Resident Evil, I highly doubt something so serious would be dumped or used in an area that it was able to spread by any creature.

I suppose the problem is no matter how good a facility is, if a catastrophy was to happen such as war and the place was to blow up or for walls to break, there could be problems. So it is more than possible, but more than likely not under normal circumstances.

Even if it was, it doesn't mean the infection would do things the G-Virus did. It could however make one sickly or even be fatal, but comparing such a virus and letting it spread, a longshot. Moscow had an incident, 70 people died and animals were infected to. This was in the 70's due to anthrax.

We hear bio-chemical warfare a lot too, but like the book was explaining, a Biohazard is accidentaly spread... not the same level as this warfare that has been talked about so much as of late.

If you'd like some more good perspective, aside from Archive's interview, check out:
