I don't scare easily, but the TV scene in Poltergeist was creepy, the crate monster in Creepshow was funny / gory, and the scene in Friday the 13th Part II where Jason pulls the woman through the window as she hides made me jump. And that is about it, lol.

House? That film where the soldier is after that guy's kid? Yeah, I have the box set. House III technically was a separate film called The Horror Show!

Yes, that one.
I wasn't aware there were sequels, but I doubt I will ever get around to watching them... I suspect they aren't too good.....
The part that always scared me was when Cobbs Ex- Wife "turned" into the wierd monster and attacks him.

One of the parts of IT that always scared me was the "Shower Room" scene with Bill, and Pennywise popping out of the drain.
The book was fantastic, yet people who haven't read the book (my mother) don't really understand/ like the ending of the movie (with the spider).

IT and Child's Play scared the crap out of me when I was a kid, along with the Exorcist. I was deathly afraid of all 3 of those movies when I was very young. Amazingly enough, stuff like Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Halloween etc. didn't really affect me much at the same age.

I think it had more to do with 'kid' stuff like Clowns and Child's toys being 'evil' that was scary as I was able to relate to it and be scared by the thought of it compared to jason, freddy, or michael who were simply grown serial killer demon things, which were easier for me as a kid to see as fictional and therefore not very threatening, compared to something I could relate to such as my toys coming alive etc. The exorcist scared me because I was raised Catholic back then and the idea of the 'devil' as the antagonist scared the living crap out of me, especially the idea that he could possess someone, IE: a kid.

I still remember crying myself to sleep the night my family watched Child's Play 2. I was in my room on my bed peeking out into the living room from the edge of my bed (it was next to the door) and saw bits and pieces of the movie and it scared the crap out of me, made me cry myself to sleep, and gave me a nightmare that night I still remember to this day in full detail, lol.

I actually didn't get so scared watching horror movies. It was my poison of choice and my parents let me pretty much watch anything PG13 and R when I was ages 6-12. IT, Child's Play, Night of the Living Dead were among my favorites, but the Shower scene with Penniwise coming from the drain and the part where he takes in the little boy from the storm drain scared me so bad. But I LOVED to watch Chuckie ksjdndkds so cool. :D

I didn't find Child's Play that scary. The little doll in Trilogy of Terror served as the inspiration. Well, the first one was a little creepy, the way Chucky would run down the hallway and after Aunt Maggie. But everything after that was predictable. They tried to be clever by showing all these trick camera angles to set up as the boy as a red heron, but in the end I didn't fall for it.

I also didn't find the Freddy films scary in the least. The first one was kinda scary how Freddy could manipulate your dreams, but the sequels were not that great. Too many people say New Nightmare is outstanding, but I didn't like its very slow pace. To be honest, I haven't been totally scared by any movie I've seen, except Drag Me to Hell at the cinema (it was loud, so it made me jump).

IT scared me when I saw the storm drain scene. I was quite frightened at that and stopped watching, and that was the beginning. Again, I was only maybe 5-7 at the time. Child's Play scared me because of a 'toy' coming to life and trying to kill the kid (owner), which with my active imagination, scared me into believing my toys could come to life and do that to me.

Other than that though, not many horror movies have ever scared me. The ONLY time in years that a horror movie ever did 'anything' for me was Texas Chainsaw Massacre Remake. And that's only because I never saw the original. So I figured 'massacre' that everyone was going to die. And Jessica Biel's char in that movie was actually very likable, so I didn't want her to die. And at the end when he's coming for her, I was on the edge of my seat not wanting her to die and anxious because I knew she was going to. And when she survived at the end I felt so relieved.

Almost no horror movies EVER do that to me, because they usually always have very unlikable chars or chars who totally deserve being killed, or who are extremely annoying. So to actually have a likable char was a new experience lol
