I know I've only been here for a few months and may not have contributed as much as some other members of the community. In fact most likely the only major contributions I have made have been the fact that I directly recruited some of my friends to join here. So my legacy continues with them, I was originally going to just disappear without a trace, but I decided against that, especially since six months from now Yama and his gang would have stalked me down and be like "why haven't you posted" as they tend to do with active members like myself who disappear. Not only that, but it would leave unanswered questions for many members of the community, it would probably start out like "why did Ununoctium blank his entire profile and remove his avatar" and then it would eventually escalate to "whatever happened to Ununoctium, I haven't seen him post for a while." This will be my last post on this board.

I'm leaving for a number of reasons, the least of which being the fact that I don't have time to visit here as much anymore, with work, college, and real life taking up time. However another reason is that I have become something of a joke, because I was an idiot who said some rather stupid things in the "Korean Language" thread, some of those things may have been insulting even to some of our British members, and I would like to apologize for the comments I made there.

However the main reason I am leaving is because I messed up, big time. Yes it would seem I PMed a few members of the community (starlisa, Lone Wolf, YayForYuffie, Eoweniel, and even Mr. Rod) a couple times a week (and apparently this inflamed local sensitivities). I of course didn't mean to annoy anyone, but some people seem to get off on making a big deal about that kind of thing and blowing up. If you didn't like receiving a couple PM a week, you should have just stopped messaging me altogether or even better, just said something to me about it.

However to continue on the third reason why I'm leaving, I would like to apologize in particular to starlisa, who is the main reason why I'm leaving. I know it's the internet, but I really enjoyed talking to you and am almost embarrassed to say that I grew to like you, a lot. We haven't talked in about two weeks (or maybe it was only one week, this whole "new year" bullshit threw me off), but I still can't stop thinking about you every day. Hell I was sad all day, because I accidentally stumbled across your Twitter account, and I realized how much I screwed up and how we would never talk anymore. So I am going to stop posting here forever now so that you, Lisa, don't feel annoyed, uncomfortable, or confused by having to put up with me anymore.

Who knows, maybe a few years from now I'll come back and we can all have a fresh start. Maybe even you and I could become friends again, if you could find it in yourself to forgive me, Lisa. I'm never going to see any of you people ever again though, most likely, so I don't really care what you guys think of me or this final message. I wish everyone here a wonderful life and a bright future! Now then, I'm going to move on with my life, I'm going to move on to bolder and better things. Goodbye everyone, this is my final message. If you want to keep in touch or say your goodbyes or anything like that, just reply here. I'll still lurk for a while to read what everyone has to say in this thread.

Yeah the political posts can be grating but I hate politics altogether. I like the ban on political discussion in The Spoony Experiment's forum. xD

As I said to you before, Un. You're a good guy and shouldn't let one or two mishaps with other users get to you to the point where you leave.

I know Caitlin, thanks for standing by me when Eoweniel started spreading her lies. But I think it's best for the community that I leave, I was causing some trouble and really I think I could use a fresh start, one where I don't look like a crazy conspiracy theorist jerk, since that's not the kind of person I want to be like, nor am I that kind of person.

That's where we disagree, Caitlin. I think politics and other controversial discussions have a place on Biohaze. In fact having good political discussions and other debates in the off-topic or politics section on message boards is always a good point that makes me want to join. In fact, I would absolutely love it if Yama added a "Politics & Current Events" sub-forum to the "Off-Topic" forum, similar to how he added a "Horror Movies" sub-forum to the "General Horror" forum.

If you're going to leave, leave. If it's over a problem with a certain member, just take it up with that member. I'm not trying to be an ass. Just that this topic and the mass PM's you sent to everyone directing them to this topic is nothing short of Attention Whoring.

Your 'goodbye' topic is the equivalant of cutters who threaten to commit suicide constantly for attention (with no true intent of killing themselves) as opposed to those who actually commit suicide. I know that may sound like an extreme example, but, it's the truth. The ones who actually plan to do something just do it. They don't draw attention to it and beg for everyone to talk to them about it.

I've seen this a million times and all this is is you begging for sympathy so people come and coddle you and tell you you aren't that bad and should stay and then low and behold you're back and not leaving, such a shocker. Just like the attention whoring cutters who don't really intend to die, you don't really intend to leave. Your immediate replies to every post so far already proves that if it wasn't already incredibly obvious.

Again, I'm not trying to be an ass. I just have no empathy for this kind of tactic. It's like the people who pout and when someone asks "What's wrong?" they go "nothing....." and pout some more and force the person to keep asking the same line over and over until they finally spill the beans.


Again, if you 'really' want to leave for whatever reasons then just do so. When I left Biohaze the two times I did previously, I just left. I didn't make any farewell topics or make a huge stink about why I'm leaving. I just left. When I got over my issues and felt like coming back, I didn't make a whole new topic saying i'm back and why and getting into melodrama, I just resumed posting. That's all there is to it.

If this really is just a sympathy whoring parade just to get lisa to talk to you again which is what it seems most like, then you should be directing your energies there at apologizing to her and trying to work things out privately. You said you're leaving to prevent her from having to be uncomfortable and embarassed with your presence here, yet you don't think bringing all of this out publicly isn't embarassing and uncomfortable for her?

Again, one more time, I'm not being a dick. I'm giving you some serious advice instead of simply pandering you with useless 'poor you' coddling. Take some time off from the boards if you need it and come back when you're ready and resume posting, or go email/FB/PM/IM/whatever lisa and try to work things out. Or just stop doing whatever you were doing that pissed her off in the first place and change your attitude and give her some time and maybe she'll come around. Who knows, that's your business, not ours.

Needless to say, this topic is not accomplishing anything productive. I've seen it all a thousand times. Chill, relax, leave if you wanna leave, stay if you wanna stay. But, cut out the melodrama sympathy whoring.

Then why are you still here replying? If all of those reasons are compelling enough for you to leave you should have just left. And if you REALLY felt the need to post all you did, then you should have just done so and left.

The fact you're STILL here replying to all of this speaks volumes. Again, i've seen this all a thousand times before. You can keep up the charade all you like. Have fun with that but this topic is attention whoring nonsense and nothing more.
