This series has technology like flashlights that shoot out holograms and cubes made of glass that function as phones alongside videotapes. Just roll with it.

I know, I was just kidding
But the movie doesn't have a specific timeline and we could take the Ducati into consideration but it really does look like it takes place during late 2013 and mid 2014. Especially when the BSAA is still using their "former" logo.

What I wonder is what exactly is Chris in the BSAA now? Since he's in his regular SOU gear in HI, which might take place after Vendetta after all. But he might also be the Captain/Commander of Silver Dagger too.

I have a feeling Chris could've had O'Brian's position as Director if he had wanted it.

But Chris never would, he's not a fuckin pen and paper desk guy.

He's in the front lines getting his hands dirty.

I feel when or if he ever decides to retire he'd be a combat instructor in the BSAA. Still semi-active and still training and supporting the next generation of operatives without getting himself killed in the field with his increasing age.

The DVD confirms that DC is actually the leader of Silver Dagger. I think Chris is at the point now where he can pick and choose what he likes more or less.

He will always be a fighter! As long as he's still well fit for the field missions, I don't see him backing down anytime soon, but... His retirement will be inevitable.

I don't see him in those positions anytime soon, probably when he's around his 60's or something but spot on Herb! This would be such an awesome way to keep him in the series without being a field operative.
