I remember before the game came out how polarizing it was to drop items at will instead of using a item box. Oh how the times have changed.

Partner zapping was interesting though. Had this been developed today then Zero would have been a co-op experience. But one player controlling two characters and switching around was a big thing then. I remember how one player got to have a second player involved by setting Billy to attack, using two wavebird controllers with the same settings on, and having the second player move around with the c-stick.

The game mode is very innovator, two players simultaneously, this was a great evolution for resident evil
