Thats not what i ment...
i was talking about this http://residenteviloutbreakserver.blogspot.com/

also the only way i would approve of downloading a game is if its really really hard to find a copy of said game... and its on a really really old console (not Ps2, Xbox, nor Gcube.... im talking about older/not in production game systems that havnt had a game released in the last 5+ years)

It's going to take them forever to build the code from the ground up (of it even is a "them" and not "him"). That project will probably never come to completion. The only way to do it would be to use the code that Outbreak used and that, my friend, would be illegal.

Also, approval or not, it's still illegal to download games unless they're abandon ware.

Capcom is going for the easy money, why waste resources on a game that is destined to sell a disappointing number of copies, when they can go with a sure bet? The online shooter crowd is a cash cow like no other. "Loyalty to the fans" doesn't pay the bills. I don't see how it is so hard for Outbreak fans to understand that.

Which is why ORC turned out to be a huge stinking FLOP. Lololol. Has it even beat File 2's sales?

Mega bump of fail. ORC has sold 582.000 units in 2-3 weeks. That's almost the same units File 2 sold in its whole lifespan.

LOL @ Fail. ORC will never see a million units. 90% of it's sales were front loaded. The AWFUL reviews will stop it selling much more, and for an "online shooter" with the RE brand that is pathetic. It's already going into freefall on the video game charts.

You're deluded if you think ORC will sell another half a million or even quarter of a million.

ORC really is pitiful and should never even be mentioned alongside Outbreak.

Won't see a million? Will this thread be getting bumped again when it does?

Yes, yes it will.

Look forward to it. Even still, the sales for ORC are VERY disappointing, along with the reviews

Outbreak file 2 - sold half a million on ONE console, when online gaming was practically unheard of.

ORC - Sold about the same (FRONTLOADED BY FANS) and is starting to fizzle out at a measily 500-600k on the two main gaming consoles in a climate where online gaming is the most prominent it has ever been.

RE fans are not stupid, can you see people playing ORC in ten years time? Me either. Fans were still modding their PS2 and buying japanese versions of Outbreak just to play it, up until the servers were closed.

Erm...yes actually. Youre rose-tinted specs might be blurring your vision here, but there are people that are enjoying it. And i certainly reckon there'd be more playing it in ten years than the millions and millions (haha) who were modding their PS2s.

Funny how you hail half a million sales as an achievement in one paragraph, then declare as much as 600k as "measly" in the next though. Blinkered. Don't matter how many consoles it's across, the figures still talk.
