Calculated how? You said it had to be precise according to body weight. Wesker bathing in it and the randomised effect of a populated area being hit with a cruise missile don't seem much different to me.

Calculating the precise amount to be put in the missiles.

And I also said that the viral cysts are metabolized and disappear over time (in seconds at times). So the entire thing is completely moot.

It is? I can't tell if you are agreeing with me or not. His plan was still stupid if there is any precision involved. The uroboros would need have a vector which could read people's weight if this idea is to have any worth. It's like planning an assassination and deciding that carpet bombing is the best method.

Thought this would be fitting for this topic, I just finished translating it.

http://projectumbrella.net/articles/Uro ... n-Document

Quote:
UROBOROS PROJECT EXECUTION DOCUMENT

The effects the Uroboros Virus causes on human DNA.
It will become a fatal strike to those that are unworthy, and have only inferior genes. Many people will not be able to bear the selection and will be reduced to the infinite serpent which crawls on the ground and consumes itself.
Only those valuable few people with truly excellent genes will become worthy.

Those disqualified have no use in the coming world.
Tomorrow, only those chosen can enjoy the grace of the rising sun.
Tonight, the Uroboros Virus will be released upon the world.
As planned for some time, the Uroboros missiles carried in the bomber will be launched simultaneously with arrival in the tropopause.

The virus dispersed from the missiles will be carried on the westerlies which flow through the upper troposphere, and the selection will take root all over the world.
A virus possesses no emotions. It will screen every human being.
And those not chosen will simply look for the next host, as a host of Uroboros.

No-one can stop the cycle.
6 billion screams will repaint all of history.

While we're on the subject of Wesker, here's another example of functional retardation on the part of CAPCOM's translators.

CAPCOM wrote:
Wesker had already obtained samples of various organisms and viruses including the T-Virus, the G-virus, the T-Veronica virus, and Las Plagas. All of these were eagerly and enthusiastically received by Umbrella’s former rival companies who compensated him greatly for each. With wealth, power, and glory, Wesker appeared to have everything a person could ever want.

Project Umbrella wrote:
Until now, Wesker had obtained many viruses and organisms, including the t-Virus, G-Virus, t-Veronica and the Plaga. Armed with these, he rose within the rival company of Umbrella and obtained status, wealth and honor. Materially, he was contented.

My god.

Wait.... Isn't this saying he was still with the rival company of Umbrella and not is own Organization by 2006?

I have no idea, honestly. Wesker's organization(s) are the most vague plot points in the entire series.

The most interesting part is that they put ''The'' rival organization instead of "a" rival organization. It's definitely the one from RE2. It has to be.

There's another reference to it, as it says "Wesker spent all of the organization's money, power and time and at last found the location of Spencer".

The official translation implies that he used all of his personal stuff to do it. But it seems Wesker abused his high position within the rival company in order to use its resources to find Spencer.

When did the whole "Wesker's secret Organization" came from? I don't think he actually did it (he was planing to do it of course) but meting Spencer changed Wesker's plans and he dropped the idea.

It's there actually a confirmation he establish that Organization?

I think what leads most people to believe that he had his own organization is the concept that Ada was still working with the rival company in 2004. We know from Archives II that she joined Wesker's organization, but because most believed "The Organization" to be the rival company, people thought The 3rd Organization (Wesker's organization) was something different. The vagueness throws most people off. At this point, it looks like "The Organization" is not the rival company, while The 3rd Organization is.

BH6 should confirm who Ada truly works for so it will finally seal this plot thread. However, it doesn't help that the translators fuck up such important details very, very consistently... I fear for the mistakes we'll get in BH6.
