Good show. I can't stand the camera angles though since they actually feel very very amateurish and not well thought out like previous realtime entries like CV or the Outbreak games.

If anyone is down for a Pro run on either scenario and has a mic, PM me (PS3 version)

They sure do make the score stars hard to shoot, we actually missed one in part 2 just because I was using them.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt that way. I thought the camera angles were actually really bad, even disorienting at times, and I never had a problem with them in previous games.

I especially didn't like it when the camera was pulled back really far, making the characters look really small as a result. The proportions of the environment in relation to the character models are already pretty off (many of the environmental objects are much larger than they should be when placed next to the characters; at least, they look that way to me, anyway). It's harder to notice when you're using the behind-the-back/over-the-shoulder camera view, but the fixed camera angles really serve to highlight the disparity.

It's the same way in the main game, but as I said, it's not as noticeable due to the position of the camera behind the character model.

Yeah, it's actually pretty jarring when one has seen what the original asset proportions are in the REmake. Here, the environments felt like a Spencer mansion inspired amusement park ride or a small house rather than an estate.

So I saw some vids of the new mercs characters.

Spoiler:
Heavy Metal Chris is stupid
Sheva Business is a female Midnight Wesker
Rebecca is weak and can't kill very well (but still cool)
Josh is AWESOME

Have to disagree here. She kicks ass if you know how to use her, just like Jill BSAA in the original mercenaries.

If by 'know how to use her', you mean 'shoot the enemy way more then you should have to to get their health down so the melee attacks actually kill', then yeah that's true.

I'm still looking forward to playing as her though, don't get me wrong. At least the flamethrower looked good.

Too many Wesker-like players. I'd like to relax more and spray some legs with bullets.
