Christian Svensson, Capcom USA's Corporate Officer has confirmed via the company's Unity messageboard that no downloadable content will be made available for Resident Evil Revelations. He said the game "would have needed to have had the hooks built into it to accept future DLC. That is not the case."

Sounds rather fishy, doesn't it? Why would they shoot themselves in the foot and not take the opportunity to capitalize in the success of the game? This is so un-CAPCOM.

Unless, they are planning an enhanced version for the future... *cough*console port*cough*

That sucks, was hoping for a certain character to be DLC for raid mode.

That's because it'll be included in the Vita version.

But Seriously, I hope a Vita RE (if there would be any since this depends on it's success in the west I guess) is an Original RE.

If there are no plans for anything right now, they should get started RE:R2 starring Claire, and Improve on the features of Revelations.

I will pay $1 to play with Rachel in Raid Mode, take my money Capcom... I guess not.

That's odd considering when Rev was first announced is when they were talking about DLC on the 3DS in general and capcom if i recall did make a comment about wanting to add the ability for the game to receive future DLC updates.

Again, odd. But, oh well.

Though, couldn't they just 'update' the game in the first place to allow for DLC? Wouldn't be the first time something was updated to prepare for something like that. Who knows.
