Dual Pixels is reporting a close source to them, who has insider knowledge of Nintendo, has leaked a list of upcoming Wii U titles. One of them is Resident Evil: The Mercenaries Bio Ops. Judging by the name, it's possible this is an enhanced version of Nintendo 3DS' The Mercenaries 3D.

Take this info as a rumour until Nintendo and Capcom reveal their Wii U's lineup at E3 2012 (June 5-7).

I was going to say nay at having to buy another Nintendo console for a Bio-title; but the launch list isn't too bad.

Phantasy Star Online 2? (WoW and Dragon's Nest as well, but I care little for those) This thing is going to have networking capability of some sort? Also it's backwards compatible, so I could trash/trade-in my dust-collecting Wii, and still be able to play the Chronicles games if I wanted to.

I didn't exactly care to pick up Mercenaries 3D, because imo, it wasn't enough to warrant my attention. If they are going to do it right, it had better be content heavy.

More than 8 characters, (M3D's roster didn't make sense, no Leon or Ada, while Krauser and Claire were available. It's like they sprinkled a little of 4 and a little of 5 and called it good. And once again, how can you have anything featured from RE4 at all, without Leon?) and definitely more than 8 maps that span other games aside from 4 and 5. Adapt Rev's Raid Mode setup and you might just hook me.

CAPCOM BUSINESS PLAN

1) Complain about money.
2) Spend money to develop shitty spin-offs that don't sell.

Unless this console is BC I refuse to buy another just for an RE game. I spent little to no time playing Mercs so if the console is going to be worth buying (ie. a lot of good titles and BC) this will be a pass for me.

That is really not a reliable or accurate statistic to indicate how Operation Raccoon City will sell in the long run, either. Games of such poor quality tend to fizzle out pretty quickly after the first month.

Regardless of whether it sells well or not in the long run (and it won't reach Capcom's 2.5m) it's still selling now.

I was referring to whether it sells well in the long run. Not selling at all would be unrealistic.

And i wasn't assuming you were being specific enough to say it wouldn't sell a single copy.
