GTOOTW (Get This Out Of The Way), means just that. Let's get these out of the way and avoid future clutter.

Personally I feel there are more than enough old ties left open to use, Biohazard 5 far from cleared everything up (nor well).

I think I'd like to see a new cast with a few supporting characters from the older titles, mainly the ones left wide open.

Mix will be best.

Reinterpretations of the old characters would be best.

Most definitely a mix of characters. Just like we had in RE4 and RE5. A familiar character in the main role as well as in supporting roles then add new enemies and allies to round out the game.

I actually like the idea. Restart it all. Keep characters we know but play it out differently and this time with a solid story planned out from the start that will span multiple games.

Well maybe not for RE6, I still think there is some room for more stories to tell. But at some point RE is going to hit another period of staleness and everyone will be looking to do something new with the series, I think the above idea would work very well.

I think there are a bit to many RE characters now already. Just the old cast would be fine. A mix wouldn't really bother me either though. But old cast only is my preference.

Of coarse there are going to be new side characters and such. But I think the protagonists should stay the same. I don't want any new ones. Also capcom needs to stop setting it's games in the year they come out with. Otherwise Jill and Chris will be 50 before we know it.


I think that would be horrible.

I favor a mix of old and new as well, but I also want to see the cast we have now mix things up a bit. I'm tired of Leon + Claire, or Chris + Jill. Let's have some Leon + Chris, for example.

That said, RE6 probably won't have Chris and Jill in it. Leon seems like an obvious candidate, and so does Claire.

I agree with CVX, It should be a mix, I wanna see some characters meet up with each other and not always Chris+Jill nor Leon+Claire. I don't have a problem with it but it would be interesting to try a different route. Leon+Chris is what I wanna see badly.

Would prefer new characters, and chances are, that's what we'll get.
