I've read the Fire & Ice comic books and I found only one incoherence with the games: the encounter between Falcon (the Charlie Team leader) with Chris, Jill and Barry, in the Europe.
However, it's unknown the events that happened in the Europe with the STARS survivors... I don't know.
The virus that the comic presents is the X-virus (yes, another letter virus), and if injected directly in the victim, they turn into a specie of Tyrant (but not like the most Tyrant that we know... It's a lower Tyrant, with a face kinda like a monkey - yep, strange).
The villain it's a renegade Umbrella researcher, so doesn't interpose the history of previous or later games.
But I know that its difficulty to consider the events from the comics canon, Capcom never said a word about it (or a least, I never seem nothing about it). I guess that the only canon comic is the Umbrella Chronicles manga...

I have english translations, and you are not missing out if you dont, as these comics are awful, so thankfuly not canon. The storyline is absurd, and the over-the-top action blows away any integrity to the true series. The wildstorm graphic novels for Code Veronica are much better & follow the gameplay very closely - mostly, but with typical Hong Kng style action (Clare karate kicking a Hunter into a quick death?!). But at least you dont get to hear Mr Burnside's squeeky platitudes to Clare! Resident Evil Collection One (Parts 1&2) with Jim Lee artwork are sublime though, and worth a look ~ But none of the comics add canon material.

Well, some (or many) people could say the same thing about Resident Evil 5.

But there is a reason (or a list of reasons) to consider F&I non-canon?

Because the case of Resident Evil Collection One it's different, this comics shows no Raccoon Destruction, places Leon and Claire in a meet with Chris, Jill and Barry... And so on.
