One question, sorry if this has already been answered. I don't understand which DLC pack Mercenaries Reunion is part of, I only know of LiN, DE, and both the costume packs. Do you need to buy all of them to acces Reunion?

Technically, you already have Mercenaries Reunion if you've downloaded the figures, you just don't have anyone to play it with. So, buy ANY ONE pack (either of the two levels, or either of the two costume packs) and you'll be able to use them.

It is going to kill me waiting for this to come out on disk in the west.

Knowing that you're all playing and discussing it's secrets while I sit here waiting for the hard copy is sooo annoying.

Next time they need to release it on disk the same time as the digital download. I saw it on the PSN store earlier, I probably would have downloaded it if I had a credit card set up to my PSN account.

Just one thing I want to know. Is LIN like the classic RE games where you chose who you want to play as at the beginning? Or do you have to unlock that feature?

You first have to play as Chris, and when you've finished the game (which is pretty fast), you can play again as Jill.

And you're really not missing much actually. You've finished LiN before you even know it. I downloaded and installed it at 05.33PM, and I was finished by 7, I thought.

Mercenaries Reunion, on the other hand, is much fun. I experience that the stages are easies than the regular Mercenaries, but some of those yellow time pillars are on other spots of where they used to be. I played with Excella and Sheva (Fairy Tale) and they're both strong. Sheva also has a new ground melee attack. She doesn't ''stab'' the enemy, like before. She has now ''Double Slash'' if I'm right that's called. She cuts the enemy on the ground twice. It's mostly killed by the first cut, since she has strong weapons, so they usually don't even get on the ground, they're dead before they hit the ground. And Excella's Urboros-injection melee attack does make the enemies explode. Awesome.

I should have mine on Tuesday flatbush, though will also be playing the DLC on 360 (prefer the 360 version).

What i noticed about the ps3 version of LIN, is that there are some terrible frame rate drops here and there and anti aliasing is also not friendly in certain areas.

Well, I played it 4 times Now , Finished in Every difficulty & I'm going to get all trophies for it
It's much better than RE5 regular Story & Much more realistic

Honestly , IMO .. I prefer The 1 Hour LIN over all of RE5 story mode

What are you talking about double slash. Don't misinform people of wrong details. Falklore sheva still uses stab. Where did you get the melee double slash.

Because when paired with Excella (maybe others), Sheva's ground attack is a double slash. So don't be so hasty to tell someone they don't know what they are talking about.
