When I was playing RE CVX, I realized that it was probably the most difficult in the series. Just for the simple fact that it was the longest and had the most challenging puzzles. In my opinion. Does anyone else have the same opinion?

Without a doubt, if not only for it's flaws with the save system and other things. It can also be fairly easy if you get decent with the combat knife.

Code Veronica isn't really a difficult game, it just has some poor design choices that produce some artificial difficulty. Like a lot of people I had to start over on my first playthrough because I screwed myself over for the Tyrant fight on the plane. Wouldn't really call that difficulty. You've got enough ammo to take on most of the enemies in the game, and if you think to use the knife you won't have any trouble conserving ammo at all.

Resident Evil Zero's hard mode, in my opinion, is the hardest game in the series. There's so little ammo, especially in the train segment. And because the cars are so tight, you're almost forced to knife the zombies in there.

The knife is overpowered and should be nerfed, the zombies don't stand a chance against it. In CVX anyway.

I definitely had the hardest time with CVX on my first playthrough when compared to the other games. And although it was definitely the longest of the classic games, I thought the puzzles in RE3 were more challenging.

What got me on my first playthrough of CVX (and even on some repeat playthroughs) were all the instant-kill (or almost instant-kill) traps and monsters. Gas trap, tyrant, Nosferatu knocking me off the helipad, sweepers, adult albinoid (I always insist on killing it), Wesker's hunter bots, Alexia's first form, crystal smash trap...

What are you talking about, it only hits them 3-6 times in one slash!

Yeah, I mean it is easy to conserve ammo if you get decent with the survival knive. Zombies in CVX seem weaker anways. But yeah, the lack of design probably was part of the difficulty i was having. thanks

I actually thought CVX was easy, I had a harder time with RE0.

I actually didn't have that hard of a time with RE0. Although, it was a bit longer than the other ones.

CV/X certainly ranks up there. You can carefully conserve your ammo to the point of having a stockpile to be proud of, and still have a tough time of it!
