Have been without internet so I couldn't post my opinions, though it did give me time to play the game a lot. I absolutely love it. Like I assumed early on, there was a strong Shenmue (FREE engine) vibe present, beyond the often borrowed QTE events. Though the world is not free to explore, every area is. The importance of each decision equates to a lovely tangled web that I enjoy looking through each and every time. This is the type of game that should succeed far beyond niche and create a genre in itself. Interactive Drama, why are there not a ton of titles like this? They tried in the 90's but the technology wasn't there, now that it is I'd love to see more. Either way, it was done right. Heavy Rain falls into my top games of all time area, that quick. One of the first titles in a long time to actually live up to the hype, at least in my own perspective.

I've tried so many things through out and have two trophies left, one being '???' and another seeing all endings. I haven't looked at any guides or FAQ's (was without net anyway), want to try platinuming the game without peeking. I have a feeling I know what the last trophy is, it can only be one of two things at this point.

I'm beyond happy that DLC is on the way, I don't know what I'd do without more of this beautiful game.

(BTW, on my free time in between other more important projects, I'm pondering the idea of making a website for the game and it's DLC. Something akin to Biohaze. It shouldn't be too much hassle considering the title is new and not a series, though to bring together fans and cover the upcoming DLC would be a blast. SG79, any other members willing to work on it, send a PM my way as I'll likely take it on alone unless otherwise contacted. Would appreciate the help greatly though.)

Im glad you liked it too Yama. Id agree that It`s definitely inspired or influenced by Shenmue, but is in a different genre or sub-genre. I cant wait for the DLC too. I got my DL voucher ready to go when its activated. And I think sales will be good for this game so I bet we`ll see more from Quantic Dream in the future. A sequel in the same world would be ok but I dont know what story branch they would rely on to do that. So it should be a whole knew I.P if ever.

So platinuming this game should be easy enough. Finished it a second time and I still...

Spoiler:
.. got Scott killed. What an oddly entertaining broken story... like a college drama experiment of the sort

Spoiler:
Is the problem that you havent playn it a certain way to get Scott of the hook and saved? Because Ive seen 3 different endings so far that ive saved Scott from being killed or captured. And whats broken about it? Ive herd others say something along those lines? But I havent seen whats brakes and story line aslong as you consider each of the characters choices within the time line and parameters that you`ve created.

Spoiler:
Oh and also! Even though ive got Scott of the hook and no evidence I never got the trophy for it. I know I cleaned up manfreds place 100%, got Hassan and Kramer killed and all the other characters killed, captured or left without enough clues. But I still havent got the trophy! What am I missing?

Spoiler:
I basically got Lauren killed, and had Madison contact Jayden when she finds out who Scott really is. He ends up killing Scott basically.

As far as what I thought was broken, it's the whole incident at Manford's shop. I really didn't like how he gets killed while you're in control of Scott.. and you're playing as Scott essentially. Then Scott's remorse itself.

After finishing the game my minds creative juices went wild. I really hope this succeeds and becomes the next big thing. I would love to see this level of interactivity in many future games. Of coarse not every game has to be a huge QTE sequence, but I would love the non linear storyline idea to become the norm in game design narrative structure.

Imagine an RE game, where the story was non linear, and your every choice had the most profound effects later on. I think it would be amazing to play.

Has the DLC got a release date yet?

Spoiler:
I could almost see this arguement. But you arent in control of Scott while Manfred is dieing. Instead you walk strait into the back and see that he`s dead and call to Lauren. The time gap is snuck in there. It makes sense if you just use your imagination I guess. This doesnt bother me because in the end they show the full scene and is still understandable. In terms of his remorse.. definitely he has it. No doubt about it. He has it though not because his friend "suddenly died" but because he HAD to kill him. Otherwise he`s leaving a person open to information and proof with clues to who he is. Lauren eventually learns this anyways later on but by accedent because she investigated the notebook. And being the killer with his track recored he would have eventually have had to kill Lauren. In the games case you have that option by not saving her in the drowning car. Thus the "Perfect Crime".. and its a trophy!
