And a second "Attaboy" in as many posts!

The journey you're about to begin is quite special.

Accidentally read that through Tapatalk, sweet. Either way, kind of doubting it's true. The point of uncertainty alone is allowing me to see it as a surprise if it does or does not happen, luckily it's just rumor at this point. In fact, I'm still uncertain of where issue #100 is going. I kind of foresaw a slaughter house, but can't quite put my finger on it, seems like there will be more to it. We've already dealt with such human sieges.

Muahaha!!! Got my start on it, taking my time reading it too, I like some of the differences it has with the show yet the show so closely follows it and retains it's own identity.

As good as the show is, you'll soon stop drawing comparisons and be sucked into the comic entirely, to the point where the show suddenly doesn't matter.

So let's get those impressions then!

I thought it was great - but at the same time I don't know if it lived up to my expectations?

Spoiler:
Very sad to see Glen die - but it's not the type of character I'd have expected to go. Very sad though having been so close to finding happiness.

The execution (as in how they did it, not THE execution) was so good though. Was really well built up, very tense. I imagine if you're reading a hard copy it's good - but when you're reading it on a phone frame by frame then you really don't see it coming!
And considering it was longer than a usual issue - the time flew by reading it!

Wow, wow, wow...

Spoiler:
It didn't necessarily shock me and it had nothing to do with rumors floating around prior to the issue, in fact I immediately knew what was going down when we heard 'brutal' + Glenn's joyous conversation in the car. The foreshadowing was clear as day, I just shook my head because I didn't want it to be true. Not only was it, it was some of the most brutal and heart wrenching stuff we've seen in this series. I have no words...

Direction wise, I hope it surprises me. I don't want another governor scenario, we've already been down that road. I want the group to count their losses and hit the road. It's not in Rick's nature, sure, but nor is placating a guy like Negan.

Oh and Stu, you're an ass hole with that signature, but it's absolutely brilliant at the same time.

Damn. I'm too excited.
But if the television show follows the comics -
Spoiler:
I am going to hate to see Glen go the way he does, I wonder how they will execute the scene if even having him die that way?

I don't think they will follow that scene in the TV show but even still it's a LONG way off.
