I also read battery life of 3 to 5 hours and jumping issues if it isent on a flat surface. Know for a fact my neece and nephew will have on on 1st day out.

Eh...I wonder if they'll make another version of the 3DS like they did with the Gameboy Advance (to SP) and DS (to DSI and DSLite) I mean, I'd probably just wait for all of the bugs and whatnot to be worked out of the pre-generation and THEN get it at the new full price. The only games that remotely look interesting for the 3DS are Resident Evil and a couple others (can't find the thread). I still feel like I need more impressing before forking up half of a PS3 for one of these. :\

Not buying, none of the launch titles look all that interesting to me.

Do you need to question it? of course they will in about a year or two. Like I said earlier Nintendo launches don't usually have bugs. Sony and MS are more well known for handing out bad first gen products, for the most part when Nintendo releases a console or handheld its the same thing they're shipping 6 months later.

I paid mine off and I might not get any games till Devil Survivor Overclocked comes out but I'm pretty sure we'll see some really good games in late summer.

Well I wasn't questioning it as much as I was pondering the outbreak of people preordering the system. I mean, if people had a little more patience and less time on their hands- they might end up with a little bit better quality is all I meant. Even though the wait is generally longer for Nintendo (as you stated) a better version always comes out...and a couple years after that? A brand new console. I guess ^^^^ is just common knowledge. Don't even know why I wrote it.

But why wait? I could be playing it?

I can't be patient, I'd prefer getting it and enjoying it because logically if I could stand waiting for the next version I could also stand waiting for the next handheld, 6 years later I missed out on 100s of games I could have really loved. The first 6 months will be boring theres only about 3 or 4 games I care about, but E3 will likely have a bunch of announcements and in about August the drought usually clears up.

I don't blame you for waiting but its not silly to want it at release.

Ah well. Got this out of the way, lets see what happens with PSP2.
