Can't say I agree that it's Ashley in any way despite the VA. If it's possible that RE6 takes place between or at 2008-2010, Ashley would be 26-28, so I would expect her model to atleast look like she's aged compared to her RE4 model(considering the new graphics engine used between Re5-6 would allow for such detail vs 4).
Also, Ashley has brown eyes. I mean, there's always the case that Capcom slips up every now and then with consistency in physical appearance(although sometimes it's done purposely. e.g. Jill )

I can understand the similarity though, as 10-11 years past Sherry's original age would allow her to be the same age or height/shape/form as Ashley in RE4(22-23).

As for the Alex Wesker thing, keep in mind that the Wesker children were completely separate from each other; while being raised with Spencer's ideals, they were physically developed apart. You don't think just because Wesker's in the name that every single Wesker child would look similar to Albert do you? All the children were kidnapped from various parents of exceptional intelligence and experimented on. So aside from biological alteration in blood, you would probably never tell that they were related at all. Alex Wesker could even be of a different nationality or race after all. So in reference to the ginger mercenary with a scar, he moves like Wesker because he's a weapon. Albert moved like Albert because he was a weapon. And as a weapon using melee combat, you would likely use the moves with the most optimal performance.

So IMO, I dont think our mystery guy is Alex Wesker either. He's definitely a wanted bioweapon of sorts though. Either because his blood serves as some sort of cure, or because his blood is capable of creating some pretty horrendous weapons. Which reminds me of T-veronica; but who knows why anyone would go back on some of the older viruses when there's Plagas and other new variants of T out on the market.

The monster that's running after the new guy could've been sent by an organization or something to secure a sample of his blood for free or to make sure that he doesn't sell his blood to anyone else.

She looks similar to the darkside chronicles sherry; there is no way Ashley would've thought of going up against BOWs.. there's a possibility, but very slim chance, that's ashley.

I like slim chances. I've always hated Sherry for a very long time. This is mostly why I hope it's not her and that blonde is either Ashley Graham or an entirely new character.

I definitely hope that it's not Sherry as there's characters I'm far more interested in, but what's all this Sherry hate? How can you hate a 12 year old girl that hasn't really gotten the opportunity to show a lot of her personality? I don't get it lol.

Who can forget the pre-release RE5 rumors that the blonde woman in the test tube was Sherry but it turned out to be none other than Jill?

Whether that blonde girl is either Ashley or Sherry, I just hope she is more helpful and less of a burden this time around.

I don't really mind if it's Sherry either way, but I don't understand the mouth-foaming hate for her.

I don't like babysitting. Much the same as I hated that in RE4. But before then, Sherry was my most hated. It makes sense that Claire was able to outrun Sherry, but that slowed me down. Plus she dressed stupid. I blame Annette for that one.

To be honest, I'm dissapointed with the characters of re6..
Leon, I'm fine with, but with the steroid Chris; like c'mon we had enough of him.
I was really hoping that the protagonists would have been Claire or even Rebecca (yes I am a rebecca fan)
