I think Damnation will tie into RE6 which is probably why they are releasing it in the summer right before RE6's release since they had to wait to unveil RE6 first. Makes sense.

Either way, looking forward to it. And this certainly is a great year to be a Biohazard fan. I just hope all we're getting this year doesn't mean that the next year or two we get nothing.

That's my fear. I love all the new RE stuff, don't get me wrong, but I worry about 1) the quality of all these releases 2) what happens next year? Year after that? :(

I think as a fanbase, it seems that we've become very spoiled(or accustomed) over the last few years, getting all of these games, tie-ins, movies etc. in such a short amount of time, versus the wait that used to be imposed upon us.

I mean, we should be very grateful that this franchise has received so much attention(if not for money alone) in recent times; but it has also made us very demanding and impatient in the end. Not necessarily our fault due to loose ends or other factors making us feel that we haven't been fed our fill, but we go even a year with little in the way of information or interaction with Biohazard and its like going through a withdrawal sometimes.

I guess that's why it's good there are supplemental materials provided to keep us hunting for information to explain the webs and clusterfucks in plot, but only to a certain degree. Oh, what will we ever do, eh?

And Jackal, I agree with you to a certain extent. But, the Biohazard community as a whole is probably very small compared to some of the others that Capcom has. I think that's the main reason people are always clamoring for more and sooner, because the last two games (read Bio 5 and Mercs) were just blegh. That and the gihugenormous holes and questions left for us to wonder about for X amount of years. But, as I say that we have the biggest most content filled year that I have ever witnessed and probably ever will, so good on you Capcom.

I really hope that this movie gets the same treatment as Tekken: Blood Vengeance with a movie theater release. Even if it's for a day, i'd love to see this movie with Movie Theater surround sound.

I kind of hope we get a DVD with both English and Japanese audio selectable; if I do recall, I thought the version of Degeneration that was shown in theaters over there had Japanese voice actors.

I agree. Both projects began development in a similar time frame and the reason we've heard next to nothing since the initial teaser was probably due to the secrecy of Biohazard 6.

These are certainly good times. Definitely better than the five year wait between CVX and Bio4 to advance the story.
