Capcom, Namco Bandai and Sega have teamed up for a new 3DS horror game.

Back in Febraury, Nintendo had a conference that revealed various new games for the handheld. One of those games was shrouded in mystery... The announcement of it simply said the three companies were developing it.

Today, a teaser site went up for the game. At the time of these news being posted, the countdown reads 7 days and 2 hours left for the reveal, which translates to April 12 (12 PM Japan Time).

Namco Bandai are doing the deck building game for Resident Evil after all...but Capcom and Namco have collaborated on a few games before: Dead Aim, Namco x Capcom, Tekken x SF,
People who used to work for Capcom's Clover Studio work at Platinum Games, who have made games for Sega. Maybe they were planning this for a while. Im not getting my hopes up that it's Resident Evil-related yet, but whatever it is, it might be interesting. Im expecting some sort of horror rpg out of this...and if not, a crossover rpg or fighting game. :P

Articles suggest that the "pxz" in the site address would most likely be a clue to what it could be.

Im hoping it's an rpg too, maybe even a strategy rpg like Namco x Capcom was. In reference to Resident Evil, you had Bruce and Fongling as featured characters with the Spencer Rain ship as one of the visited locations.

I'd rather it not be a fighting game; Im so sick of crossover fighting games, especially when it comes to Capcom.

This. I'm not sure exactly what they have planned, but I hope it's not ANOTHER crossover fighting game. We've seen too many of those in the past few years.

What? I want as many crossover fighters as I can get (With RE characters of course). Can't wait for the inevitable MvC4.
