He will grow up with a background in science, attend a prestigious university and will eventually become one of the three founding fathers of Umbrella Inc. 1930-1940 RECVX – MESSAGE TO NEW FAMILY MASTER The position of Ashford family master shifts from Sir Thomas to his twin brother Sir Arthur. 1931 REOUT2 – MONEY SCOOP Elliot Martin is born. He will become Chairman of the Raccoon Zoo’s board of directors and gets caught up in a bootlegging scandal in the illegal trading of rare orchid specimens. 1939 RE0 – OLD PHOTOGRAPH REUC – MEMO ON THE FOUNDING OF UMBRELLA James Marcus graduates from university, presumably with a degree in chemistry or biology of some kind. He becomes a prominent virology expert. 1950-1959 RECVX – MESSAGE TO NEW FAMILY MASTER Arthur’s son Sir Edward Ashford becomes the fifth head of the Ashford family and is presented with an earthenware vase. It is during his reign that Umbrella is formed and his family enjoys its golden age. He is the also the second founding father of the corporation. 1953 RE – ARCHIVES REUC – LISA TREVOR PROFILE Lisa Trevor is born, daughter of George Trevor, worldwide renowned architect and his wife Jessica. George would go on to be recruited by Spencer to construct the mansion in Raccoon Forest and the unfortunate Lisa would be imprisoned in the mansion for nearly thirty years and her experimentation would lead William Birkin to discover the G-Virus. RE – ARCHIVES REUC – KENNETH J. SULLIVAN PROFILE Kenneth J. Sullivan is born. He will go on to be a chemical specialist and member of STARS Bravo Team. A quiet man with a gentle nature, he will develop a passion for landscape gardening as well as a degree in chemistry. He is charged with recon and position security. RE – ARCHIVES Russian Mikhail Viktor is born. He will eventually become a Lieutenant in the U.B.C.S. Originally from St.Petersburg, Mikhail will rise through the ranks of the red army before joining his wife’s guerrilla organisation, performing terrorist acts aimed at liberating various native peoples. He and his men will be captured by government troops and forced to join the U.B.C.S. 1957 RE – ARCHIVES REUC – ENRICO MARINI PROFILE Enrico Marini is born. Will go on to become Captain of the STARS Bravo Team and be overall second in command to Wesker. He is a veteran with advanced survival skills and is highly trusted by his subordinates. 1958 RE – ARCHIVES Robert Kendo is born. Of Japanese-American origin, Robert along with his brother Joe will become the owner of the Kendo gun shop near the police station in Raccoon City. He will also become good friends with Barry Burton and will go on to customise guns for many of the STARS members. 1950-1960 RE – ARCHIVES WESKER’S REPORT 2 RECVX – ALEXANDER’S MEMO English nobleman Ozwell E. Spencer, the final founding father of Umbrella, and his colleague Edward Ashford discover the Mother Virus. In a dark era with people still living in the aftermath of World War 2 and the build up to the paranoia of the Cold War, they studied the virus not for profit, but primarily for military use. The Mother Virus has the ability to modify human genes and will be the template for many different viral strains in the years to come.
