WESKER’S REPORT 2: JULY 31ST

REUC – WESKER’S REPORT EXTRACT ON “HER”

Wesker returns to the Spencer Estate for the first time in four years. Birkin still heads the G-Virus project. The virus continues to mutate its host, creating a creature that resurrects from the dead.

Lord Spencer is also spending less and less time at the facility and Wesker wonders what he has inn store for Umbrella. A new head researcher named John Howe arrives at the labs. The Lisa Trevor experiment is beginning to get violent and she rips the heads off careless researchers and wears them on her hunched back, it was because of this that her termination was decided upon. With the study of the G-Virus on track, she no longer holds any worth as a valuable specimen.

After the termination of her vital signs is confirmed, her body is taken away to some unknown location at the instruction of the Lab Manager.

REUC – S.T.A.R.S NOTES

The Raccoon City branch of the Special Tactics and Rescue Squad {S.T.A.R.S} is founded by Albert Wesker. He is also Commander of the team. This elite group is designed to combat terrorism, organised crime and emergencies too difficult for the regular police officers to handle. Its members include a hand-picked group of specialists, the best of the best. The team’s funding is provided by grants from private corporations and most notably, Umbrella.

REUC – RICHARD AIKEN’S LETTER

Richard Aiken joins STARS and writes a letter to someone he is close to called Brigidette, who is concerned about him taking up such a dangerous line of work. He cites his main reason for joining is the fact he never got over the death of his baby sister, who was killed right in front of him by a criminal whilst he was a kid. He needs to protect people in order to quell the feeling that he should have died in her place.

The water treatment plant underneath Raccoon Forest is closed down suddenly. The manager is not surprised and does not care as long as he gets out of there.

REUC – MEMO ABOUT BILLY’S PAST

Jeff Hendricks of ‘War’s Power’ magazine writes an article about a possible cover-up of a botched US Special Forces mission in Africa. A non profit organisation has disclosed information that the alleged execution of 23 soldiers was actually the slaughter of 23 innocent local inhabitants. The US military has retracted its initial statements about the operation, and the world is in uproar over its involvement in the affair. An investigative committee has been quickly assembled to look into the incident, and the results of the enquiry are disturbing. The official line is that due to the extreme conditions encountered, one of the marines panicked and unintentionally killed the people.

Hendricks adds that a cover-up is in progress and the marine, if he even exists, has been made a scapegoat. Dunell Marine Base, situated in the American heartland, continues to deny the media access to the facility.

REUC – T.A.L.O.S PROJECT PROPOSAL

REUC – T.A.L.O.S NOTES

With the Arklay Lab close to the success of a T-002 Tyrant, progress towards marketable BOW is moving along nicely however, in order to satisfy the varying needs of Umbrella’s clients’ research and development into new BOW must be increased.

The main problem the researchers have found to date is the lack of control in T-Virus based weaponry with sudden cellular mutations being the main problem. The European 6th Lab has had some success in using organic parasites to achieve more control, an example of this is the Nemesis project, which is able to carry firearms and be programmed with distinct orders. However, Arklay labs believe they can achieve a more consistent result by using electronic chip connections to brain cells.

They also toy with the idea of arming their future tyrants thanks to these electronic chips which would help it protect its natural abilities while maximising its manoeuvres in field situations. The potential for these enhancements is fast becoming a reality and when complete, could make the tyrant the ultimate, all in one combat package.

The proposal then is the TALOS; Tyrant Armoured Lethal Organic System. This bio weapon will use a standard tyrant as a base, while adding remote computer control capabilities via a chip implanted in the brain. Its cardiovascular system is artificially improved to give it mobility unthinkable in a natural organism. It is planned that the body will be armoured in a special metallic alloy that will not only help it defend itself from missiles and other projectile fire, but it will also restrain runaway T-Virus mutation. Researchers will also plan to equip the finished product with weaponry to allow it to respond to distant targets. The name comes from a bronze giant from Greek mythology. A very early prototype will be developed at Arklay over the course of the year but due to unforeseen circumstances development will be shifted to Umbrella’s base in southern Russia.

REOUT2 – ADMINISTRATOR’S DIARY 1/2: JANUARY – MARCH

Albert Lester, the ex-administrator at the hospital in Raccoon Forest, returns to the city after five years of absence. He is still haunted by the death of his wife Dorothy. He visits the old hospital, now shut down for five years. All evidence of the Umbrella experiment is gone. He comes across a curious plant growing in the basement and its toxins make him hallucinate. He begins to believe that the plant is the reincarnation of his dead wife, Dorothy Lester. He begins to feed her, hunting birds, dogs and other animals in the region. The plant grows rapidly in size and he decides to stay with her, forever. As the plant continues to grow, he begins to hunt humans with an axe. He waits by a cabin and leads hikers and passers-by to the hospital.

REOUT2 – BOTONIST’S NOTEBOOK: MARCH 20TH

The two men cannot escape the cabin, yet they have a week’s worth of food left and a satellite phone as a last resort. They decide to just wait for now.

However, Rick swears he can sense a human presence besides theirs in the cabin. The botanist thinks he is just hallucinating. He has also managed to drop and break his phone. He just wants out now.

Searching around, they find a room that appears to be a pharmacy. There is a tank full of chemicals where the vines around it have begun to wilt and decay. The botanist injects the substance into a knob-like protrusion emanating from the vine on the wall and it kills it, allowing them to escape.

However, they encounter a strange man wielding an axe, it is Albert, the hospital’s former administrator. He kills both of them.

REUC – SEALED LETTER TO SERGEI VLADIMIR

Spencer sends a private letter to Sergei who is at the Russian base. He notes how the mail for X-day procedure has already been sent and that the instruction is to destroy the Arklay Labs. However, a prototype BOW resides there by the codename of TALOS and Spencer feels it has the potential to become a very powerful BOW given time and so asks Sergei to fly to Raccoon to recover it before the mansion is destroyed. He notes how these are dangerous times for Umbrella and the Arklay outbreak presents an ideal opportunity for those to take advantage of this misfortune. He thanks Sergei for being so loyal and says he had to send a private letter because all traditional correspondence channels would be monitored.

It appears that Spencer could be having suspicions about Wesker and his true motives here and so Sergei flies to Raccoon City immediately.

RE0 – COURT ORDER FOR TRANSPORTATION

RE2EX – REBECCA’S REPORT

Ex-marine Billy Coen is found guilty of first degree murder. He is to be transferred to the Ragithon base where he will be executed upon arrival.

RE0 – INVESIGATOR’S REPORT 2

The investigator reports that the mission is going to hell and that they should have finished with the training facility long ago. They have been attacked from all sides by zombies and other BOW’s. They were not told they would encounter these creatures at the briefing and concludes that HQ obviously didn’t know about them either. He wonders if there is a connection to the murders in the woods and concludes that it must have all been planned and that someone deliberately scattered the T-Virus. The members of the investigation team as well as the guards and soldiers accompanying them have all been infected. All the investigator can do now is deciding whether to use his last bullet on himself or a friend.

RE0 – EXECUTION ORDER

Convict Billy Coen, is chained up inside the back of a MP truck ready to be transported to Ragithon to serve out his sentence. He is escorted by two members of the Military Police. They set off on their journey, having special permission to take the blocked roads through Raccoon Forest.

Whilst scouting around the woods they find a wrecked MP escort vehicle and the bodies of two military police officers. As Enrico peers down for a closer look, there is slime running down the side of the vehicle. Rookie Rebecca finds a file on convict Billy Coen, who was on his way to be executed. Edward concludes he must have murdered the men and escaped. Enrico orders the team to split up and look for him.

As they head off into different directions in the thick forest, Rebecca finds the Ecliptic Express, standing stationary on the railway tracks. She goes to investigate alone as a heavy rain begins to fall.

RE0 – GAME

REUC – TRAIN DERAILMENT 1: INTRO

The train is eerily quiet and the only sound is that of the rain pattering against the windows and roof. There are bodies everywhere, none of them are moving. She calls out for survivors but it is to no avail. There is a dead leech on the floor and she pokes it around with a gun, not noticing that a corpse has risen up behind her.

RE0 – GAME

The silence is broken by a radio belonging to one of the passengers. A news report is being broadcast and as she reaches down to switch it off; a zombie rises up from the chair next to her. Whirling round, she comes face to face with the stench of death. She tries to retreat but there are two more behind her. Aiming her gun, she has no choice but to shoot. It takes multiple shots to bring them all down and Rebecca is left shaking, were they not already dead?

Moving on up the train she investigates a couple of passenger compartments and learns that the train belongs to Umbrella Inc, and that the passengers onboard were part of an investigation team en route to the Umbrella Training Facility located deeper in the forest. But whatever has happened to them, there doesn’t seem to be anyone left alive.

Near the front of the train she finds the body of the conductor, his throat has been torn out. As she is checking the body, the convict, Billy Coen, sneaks up behind her. He has an icy demeanour and is not happy to see her, especially when he learns she is a STARS member. He moves off and mocks her when she threatens to arrest him.

After he has gone, Rebecca jumps in shock as one of the windows suddenly caves in and a bloodied figure comes crashing through. It is Edward Dewey, and he has been badly wounded. He tries to compose himself but it seems to be too late for him. He manages to tell her she needs to be careful and that the forest is full of zombies and monsters, then he dies in her arms. Not having any other choice, Rebecca leaves his body and moves on back up the train.

In the next carriage, there is no sign of Billy and Enrico calls her on the radio. The signal is bad and he asks where she is, it appears the rest of the team are still outside in the storm. He warns her that they have found papers in the wrecked MP truck that say Billy Coen killed as many as 23 people. He warns her to stay alert and that Coen wouldn’t think twice about killing her. Then she loses the signal before she can give him her location.

As Rebecca checks out the dining car, Billy sneaks up on her and suggests they team up to escape as there are some pretty freaked out things on the train. Rebecca scoffs at the idea and moves on alone, heading up the stairs and onto the second floor of the train.

At the top of the stairs all is quiet, Rebecca thinks she has found a survivor, an old man sat alone at a table, however, this turns out not to be the case as his head falls off right in front of her. The body then dissolves into hundreds of leeches and advance towards her in a bid to consume her. It is only thanks to Billy who races up the stairs to check on her do the leeches make a hasty retreat.

As lighting flashes and thunder rages in the rainstorm outside, Billy and Rebecca spot a mysterious figure dressed in white robes stood on a hill. He is singing and the leeches seem to be under his command.

Before they can act however, the train suddenly starts up and moves down the track, leaving Rebecca stuck with Billy and stranded from the rest of Bravo Team. In a bid to find out who is driving the train, they make for the driver’s compartment.

At the front of the Ecliptic Express, two Umbrella Special Forces members codenamed Delta Team are in charge of the train. One radios through to base, where William Birkin and Albert Wesker are monitoring their progress. They report they have gained control of the train and Birkin cannot understand how the T-Virus was leaked, contaminating both the mansion and a train that is almost three miles away. Wesker says it is irrelevant and that they must make sure no knowledge of this gets out. He orders Delta Team to destroy the train but the soldiers are killed by the leeches before they can respond.

Meanwhile, Rebecca and Billy fight their way back through the train, including fighting a huge mutated scorpion and find themselves in the driver’s cabin, it is now empty.

REUC – TRAIN DERAILMENT 2

As they recover from their ordeal and get their bearings, Richard Aiken calls Rebecca on the radio asking where she is. Rebecca replies she isn’t exactly sure, but she can see an entrance to a building up ahead. Richard tells her he is on his way through the forest to the Spencer Mansion and she can meet up with him there.

As more zombies close in on them, they retreat into the sewer and emerge into the Training Facility.

RE0 – GAMEPLAY

The place is an old relic and looks as though no one has been here for a long time, yet all the lanterns have been lit up. A large portrait of the first facility Director, James Marcus, looms from the top of the staircase. As they approach, Marcus’ recorded voice rings out around them, “Attention, this is Dr Marcus. Please be silent whilst we reflect upon our company motto. Obedience breeds discipline, discipline breeds unity, unity breeds power, power is life.”

Back in Raccoon City, As Wesker and Birkin continue to monitor their progress an unknown man hacks into their signal claiming to be none other than James Marcus, who had been murdered 20 years ago. He reveals that the biohazard in the Spencer Lab was no accident, it was him. He also confesses to contaminating the Ecliptic Express. He burns with revenge on Umbrella. Wesker and Birkin are speechless.

Rebecca and Billy begin to search through the training complex; it is filled with the wandering corpses of Umbrella’s investigation teams. As they penetrate the ancient rooms, they discover evidence of the conspiracy surrounding Dr Marcus and the origins of the T-Virus, apparently it was created using leech DNA which may explain why the leeches seem to be everywhere.

REUC – BEGINNINGS 1: JULY 24TH EARLY AM

Now well into the middle of the night, Birkin is becoming agitated as he watches Billy and Rebecca on the monitors. He can’t deny the evidence any longer, now that the resurrected Marcus has caused all this damage, the T-Virus will inevitably leak into Raccoon Forest and could be the start of a full-scale biohazard. Wesker says this could mark the beginning of the end for Umbrella. Birkin is furious and asks Wesker if he can really just walk away from this, after all, their research isn’t complete. Apparently though, he can.

RE0 - GAMEPLAY

Rebecca and Billy are becoming quite a team to help each other to survive, so much so that when Enrico calls for a mission update, Rebecca lies and says she has not yet found Billy.

At the Raccoon City lab, Wesker and Birkin are pondering over the mystery man’s claims. If it is somehow true and Marcus is still alive, then Sir Spencer’s career will be over, not to mention their too. Wesker decides it is time to leave Umbrella for good. The T-Virus project is completed and all they now need is live combat data. Birkin is disgusted, refusing to comply until his G-virus project is completed. Wesker shrugs, he will follow his initial plan and lure the STARS members into the mansion, their superior combat training making them perfect test subjects. Birkin decides in the meantime he will get rid of Marcus by finding and setting off the training facility’s destruct system, that should also get rid of any active T-Virus in the area and prevent further infection.

REUC – VIRUS MEMO

Just before Wesker leaves the lab, Birkin gives him a special virus for his own personal use should it come to it. It is a prototype from one of the mutation stocks that possesses a unique characteristic. Tests on animals have shown them to be revived up to 70% stronger due to enhanced muscular and circulatory systems. The virus is designed to combat death and has a 90% success rate, although it has not been tested on humans yet.

RE0 - GAME

Eventually Rebecca and Billy make their way outside the training facility and across a huge lake to a church, underneath which houses Marcus’ lab and private chambers. After becoming separated, Rebecca rides an underground cable car back towards the outskirts of Raccoon City, where she bumps into Enrico. He says the other Bravo’s have found a mansion in the forest which Umbrella uses for research and he is heading to rendezvous with them there. He wants Rebecca to join him but she wants to find Billy. He reluctantly lets her go. Although just minutes after he has gone, Rebecca is ambushed by a prototype Tyrant that has escaped. Because it is not yet 100% operational, she is able to take it down.

Rebecca takes a lift to an underground water treatment plant. Marcus watches her on camera and decides she no longer amuses him.

REUC – BEGINNINGS 1

After leaving the Raccoon Lab, Wesker contacts Birkin via radio to tell him he is going to return to the training facility before departing. He wants to get a first hand look at the carnage Marcus has been causing before concluding whether they have to scrap the reclamation project.

RE0 - GAME

Whilst exploring the water treatment facility, she finds Billy, washed up in the sewerage water and barely alive. They move on, and eventually encounter Marcus. When he attacks them however, the queen leech inside of him breaks his mould and mutates.

After a tense fire fight, they manage to knock it down and escape.

REO – GAME: DAWN

REUC – UNOFFICIAL EVENTS

Wesker meanwhile, has made his way through the training facility and has deemed the facility a total loss, he then relays this to Birkin over the radio.

William Birkin activates the self destruct sequence at the water treatment facility which is also wired up to the training facility in Raccoon Forest. The Queen Leech is still not dead and pursues Rebecca and Billy up a freight elevator shaft as they make a bid to reach the surface.

REUC – BEGINNINGS 1 INTRO

REUC – BEGINNINGS 2

With the self destruct counting down, Wesker decides to make his escape and plans to exit via the train tunnel where the wreck of the Ecliptic Express still lies. Something he didn’t plan for however, was encountering Sergei Vladimir by the wreck of the train. He is with one of his enhanced T-103 ‘Ivan’ bodyguards and is in town to recover the TALOS prototype from the mansion before it is destroyed. He asks Wesker where he thinks he is going, the calm STARS commander replies he is moving onto his next mission. Sergei taunts him that the reclamation project was his mission, and he has failed. Is he going to walk away without taking any responsibility for this failure? Wesker still remains calm and simply replies that the T-Virus is leaked and that the training facility will blow up in order to dispose of it. Sergei continues to taunt him, suggesting that maybe he needs a little reminder of just who is in charge. He sets his Ivan bodyguard on Wesker.

RE0 - GAMEPLAY

Once Rebecca and Billy reach the surface level, they find the queen is pervious to daylight and so they open the roof up to destroy it. They then run out into the forest as the whole facility begins to explode behind them.

REUC – BEGINNINGS 2

Wesker manages to weaken Ivan, when the facility suddenly explodes above them, knocking Sergei back and giving Wesker an opportunity to make his escape. Sergei does not seem to be bothered as they have the TALOS retrieval to take care of.

RE0 - EPILOGUE

Rebecca and Billy emerge back into Raccoon Forest. They rest on the top of a hill. Below, they can see the Spencer Mansion, remote and ominous looking. Rebecca officially declares Billy Coen dead and they part, taking his dog tags. He watches her head towards the mansion to meet up with her team, and then he turns and vanishes into the woods.

REUC – NIGHTMARE 1 INTRO

Rebecca makes it to the Spencer Mansion to rendezvous with the rest of Bravo Team. However, she cannot find anybody and the mansion is eerily quiet. She goes to the guardhouse and rests on the bed in one of the dormitories. She soon falls into a deep sleep.

REUC – BEGINNINGS 2 EPILOGUE

Wesker rendezvous with the STARS Alpha Team, he realises now that Sergei Vladimir is in town, and there is no time for delays.

REUC – DARK LEGACY 2

REUC – RED QUEEN NOTES

Umbrella’s new state or the art artificial intelligence defence system Red Queen goes online. The AI is contained within UMF 13 yet it has unrestricted access to the entire Umbrella network for administration, monitoring and carrying out certain procedures. This additional functuality is a failsafe, but in most circumstances, Red Queen is in the background performing only its primary monitoring function. In emergencies, it will serve a more active role and protect sensitive systems and data from intrusion along with cleaning up hostiles. It is self-aware and can take these measures based on its own judgement.

RE1 – MANUAL: DAY

The remaining members of STARS Alpha Team arrive in Raccoon City late in the day.

REBIRTH – UNOFFICIAL EVENTS: NIGHT

Contact has been lost with Bravo Team for nearly 24 hours now and Wesker has been given authorisation to take in Alpha Team to search and locate the Bravos and bring them home safe.

STARS ALPHA TEAM:

Albert Wesker – Commander. Team leader.

Barry Burton – Weapons specialist

Chris Redfield – Marksman

Jill Valentine – Machinist

Joseph Frost – Vehicle specialist

Brad Vickers – Pilot

Brad Vickers preps the helicopter and they take off at dusk, heading away from the city lights and towards the forbidding Raccoon Forest, the source of all the recent murders and disappearances.

REMAKE – INTRO

Alpha Team are focusing on the areas shortly before they lost contact with Bravos chopper. After a few initial sweeps, it is Jill who spots the ominous sight of the wreckage. It confirms their fears that the helicopter has indeed crashed. They land nearby.

Aware that they are now in the danger zone, Brad keeps the engine hot whilst the others step out into the warm, summer night, weapons primed. The chopper however, appears to be deserted, indicating that the team survived the crash. Joseph steps into the wrecked cabin. He has a shoulder-mounted cam to record everything. The interior is a wreck and what is more suspicious is that the Bravo Team appeared to have left the scene without most of their equipment and the heavier weapons. Looking closer, Joseph finds bloodstains and when he peers into the cockpit he makes a gruesome discovery. Kevin Dooly, the Bravo Team’s pilot. He lies dead in his chair, his face mutilated and one of his eyes scratched out. Joseph jumps away in disgust.

Wesker orders his men to fan out and search the surrounding area. The forest is eerily quiet and there is no sound of any local wildlife.

Suddenly, Joseph is attacked by a pack of Cerberus dogs, and Jill can only watch in terror as they tear the STARS member apart. Chris grabs Jill and the dogs give chase. Thanks to covering fire from Barry and Wesker, they manage to get away.

But Brad loses his nerve in the helicopter and takes off without them. They have no choice but to run for a strange house in the distance. But Chris is lost somewhere outside.

Jill, Barry and Wesker sag into the main hall of a grand mansion. Jill wants to go back outside for Chris but Wesker tells her it would only end in her death.

They hear a sudden gunshot and Wesker sends the two Alphas to investigate whilst he secures the main hall.

REMAKE – JILL GAME

Jill and Barry enter the next room which turns out to be a magnificent dining room with a grand oak table stretching across the room. It is uninhabited, yet a fire burns fiercely in the grate at the far end. As Barry makes his way over, Jill peers out of the windows, suddenly put on her guard by a rumble of thunder. Barry calls her over, he has found something. There is a pool of blood by the fire, it is fresh. Barry hopes it doesn’t belong to Chris or one of the Bravo’s. He wants to investigate further and asks Jill to check out the other door in the room. It leads into a corridor with a few doors, all are locked. She turns back and heads to the other end of the corridor and round the corner.

There is something there. A man appears hunched over a fallen figure. Jill isn’t sure what is happening at first, until the figure takes a huge bite out of the other’s neck. Jill reels in horror as she realises the dead person is Kenneth Sullivan from the Bravo Team. The figure turns towards Jill, blood dripping from its mouth. She cannot comprehend what is happening as she staggers backwards, the thing lunging at her with decaying arms. As lightning flashes through the window, she fumbles for the door handle and stumbles back into the dining room.

She screams at Barry about a monster and he whirls at the sound of her voice. Raising his colt, he pumps three .365 rounds into the thing, the zombie, and it collapses to the cold, marble floor.

Barry wonders just what the hell it is and Jill tells him the creature has killed Kenneth. Before doing anything else they decide to report back to Wesker. Before they leave however, they hear the sound of a closing door and notice the thing’s body has disappeared.

Back in the main hall, lightning flashes, the storm must be over them now and to make the joke even worse, Captain Wesker is nowhere to be seen.

Jill and Barry call out to him but there is no answer. Jill has a quick check up the stairs but it is empty. There is no evidence lying around for what could have happened to him. It seems the STARS team is being picked off one by one and now only two of them are left.

They decide to split up to look for him. Barry will check the dining room again and Jill will try the door on the opposite side. They agree to meet back in the main hall if anything happens. Warning each other to be careful, they reluctantly go their separate ways.

Whilst exploring the eastern wing of the house, Jill enters a bathroom, where she is horrified to find a zombie in the bathtub. It lunges for her, falling onto the floor where she repeatedly stamps on its head. She is then sick in the toilet.

REUC – NIGHTMARE 1

Rebecca is still fast asleep in the guardhouse having a horrible nightmare about the Yawn. She is awoken by Richard Aiken, who is investigating the guardhouse. He is glad to see her though she doesn’t say anything about Billy. She tells him Edward is dead. Richard replies that things are not much better on his end either. The rest of Bravo Team is either in hiding or they are already dead. They decide to head back to the mansion to see if they can find Enrico.

REMAKE – JILL GAME

Moving on through the eastern wing, Jill checks the next room where she falls victim to one of the mansion’s infamous traps. She is in a small reception room, where a fine antique shotgun hangs on the wall. It is loaded and in working order, so she takes it, unknowingly triggering a mechanism on the wall. However, when she leaves the room, the door locks behind her and the ceiling begins to lower. Finding the other door locked also, she begins to panic, calling out for help.

Meanwhile, for some unknown reason, Barry happens to be in the corridor outside and can hear her screams. He comes to her aid, blowing the door open with his colt. The ceiling is almost on top of her and he manages to drag her out just in time. She is thankful, yet wonders why Barry is here when he was supposed to be investigating the west wing. He says he just had something he wanted to check. He tells her they must get back to looking for Wesker and Chris and they split up once more.

REMAKE – UNOFFICIAL EVENTS

Meanwhile, outside the mansion in the thunderstorm, Chris Redfield has managed to evade and survive the Cerberus dogs. He manages to get into the mansion via a back door.

REUC – NIGHTMARE 2

Having come back to the mansion, Richard and Rebecca are on the second floor of the main hall, when they notice something out of the main windows. Two unknown figures appear to be leaving the mansion and heading out into the forest. This is Sergei Vladimir and his bodyguard Ivan. They have retrieved the TALOS prototype, as per Spencer’s orders. As they reach the forest, they are attacked by a pack of Cerberus dogs, which Ivan calmly dispatches.

REMAKE – CHRIS GAME

After coming across some zombies and realising the house is no safer inside than out, he begins to search for his comrades and finds a note from Wesker pinned up against the wall. He has left some ammo in an adjacent room and has gone on ahead to look for a way out. So someone else is alive at least.

REMAKE – JILL GAME

Jill meanwhile, has moved upstairs and has emerged onto the second floor balcony. Barry is here, and is startled to see her. He shows her what he has found and points to the corpse of Bravo Team’s marksman, Forest Spyer. He appears to have been dead for a while and looks like he has been pecked to death by crows. Jill can’t believe it and is beginning to wonder if the whole team has been wiped out. Barry takes Forest’s grenade launcher and hands it to Jill before they split up once again.

REUC – NIGHTMARE 2

Richard and Rebecca are on the second floor western terrace when they are suddenly attacked by a swarm of crows. Richard fires a few rounds into the air to frighten them off. Rebecca is very upset, and now believes they are the only ones left alive, they still can’t find Enrico. Richard tries to cheer her up when without warning; they are ambushed by the Yawn, a huge snake mutated by the T-Virus. Together they manage to fend it off and retreat, though the snake relentlessly pursues its prey throughout the Western Wing of the house.

Eventually, they come to the library, where all seems quiet until the yawn finds them once more. Richard saves Rebecca only to be caught in the snake’s jaws himself. Rebecca manages to wound it badly enough for it to drop Richard and slide off out of sight. Richard is still alive though his right arm is covered in bites and it looks like he has been poisoned. They get up and move to look for help but Richard is too weak and they collapse in a corridor on the East Wing of the mansion.

REMAKE – CHRIS GAME

Meanwhile, Chris has found a key and managed to unlock a few doors around the mansion. He has dispatched a few undead, but his ammo is low. However, on the second floor, he finds two survivors, rookie medic Rebecca Chambers and communications expert Richard Aiken, both members of Bravo Team. Richard is badly wounded however, and appears to have been bitten by a poisonous snake. He is delirious and warns Chris to get his team out of the mansion before it’s too late. Rebecca says that there is an infirmary on the first floor where there is some serum. Chris hurries to get it. Five minutes later he is back and Rebecca administers it to Richard. He gives Chris his radio before his eyes close…But he is ok, Rebecca says he is just unconscious. They decide to move him to a safer place.

They reach the first floor infirmary where Richard lies asleep on the bed. Rebecca stays with him whilst Chris moves on to search for the others.

REMAKE – JILL GAME

Meanwhile, Jill and Barry find a file that begins to offer some brief clues as to what has happened here. There appears to have been an accident with some sort of virus, although there appears someone has been trying to destroy evidence. Barry goes on ahead; he seems to be acting suspiciously.

REMAKE – CHRIS GAME

Meanwhile, low on ammo, Chris returns to the infirmary where Rebecca patches up his wounds. Richard is still sleeping. Rebecca plays a grand piano in the bar which unlocks a secret passage revealing some clues about the mansion’s dark past. Apparently, the former owners were not too happy about people finding out their secrets.

REMAKE – JILL GAME

Jill finds the key to the mansion attic where she is attacked by a giant mutated snake. However, a recuperated Richard arrives to aid her with his assault shotgun. Together they manage to fend it off.

REMAKE – CHRIS GAME

Chris meanwhile has reached a crypt in the garden where a zombie elder slumbers. After defeating it he finds an emblem in its coffin which releases the lock at the back door.

After leaving the main grounds he receives a garbled radio message from Wesker. He cannot make much of it out but there is a warning to keep out of the woods outside the mansion, too late.

REMAKE – JILL GAME

Jill too has gone through the back door and takes shelter in a small cabin and is surprised to find a warm fire burning in the grate. Suddenly, the door opens and she whirls round. Something monstrous appears out of the shadows; a hideously deformed creature with a hunched back bound in shackles. It is Lisa Trevor; she has been a test subject here for over 30 years and has been wandering around the grounds since the accident. She knocks Jill unconscious.

REMAKE – CHRIS GAME

Meanwhile, Chris has reached the Guardhouse. It too also houses zombies. He finds a lot of research papers indicating the scientists here were very interested in the STARS. He finds a secret passageway down to a flooded aquarium. Richard is there waiting for him. But the aqua ring is not empty and they are attacked by sharks. Richard sacrifices his life to save Chris from a huge mutated great white named Neptune.

Chris manages to escape and he and Rebecca encounter and destroy Plant 42. He then runs into Wesker, who is startled to see him alive. He says he got separated from Jill and the others. He orders Chris to go back to the mansion and try to find a way to get into the locked rooms they haven’t checked yet, while he searches the rest of the guardhouse.

Wesker meanwhile, has released the MA-121 hunters from their cages and they know prowl the mansion, unbeknownst to the other survivors.

On his way back up to the mansion, Chris receives a call on the radio from Brad. It seems he is still above in the helicopter circling the estate for them. The radio is broken however and Chris cannot reply to his message.

REMAKE – JILL GAME

Meanwhile, Jill has regained consciousnesses and finds herself at the mercy of the abdominal Lisa Trevor. She manages to escape her grasp and flee into the garden. In the main courtyard she discovers a secret tunnel behind the waterfall which gives access to an underground network of tunnels.

It is down here that she comes across wounded Bravo Team leader Enrico Marini. She cannot believe he is still alive yet he is wary of her. He tells her of a traitor amongst the STARS and that they have been set up by Umbrella. Jill thinks it could be Barry, as both she and Wesker have noticed has been acting strange all night. Enrico however, strongly suspects Chris. However, before they can do anything Enrico is shot and killed by an unseen assassin. Jill immediately takes off after her assailant, and runs into Barry. He claims he heard someone’s voice in the tunnels. Together, they power up and ride the elevator to the lower levels of the catacombs. At the bottom, they hear a ghostly moan. Barry tells Jill to go on ahead while he secures the elevator. Jill runs into Lisa Trevor but manages to evade her. Upon returning to Barry however, he abandons her and rides the elevator up on his own, leaving her stranded.

REMAKE – CHRIS GAME

Meanwhile Chris has returned to the mansion on Wesker’s orders only to find it infested with a new type of creature. The hunters are extremely dangerous reptilian creatures, capable of decapitating a human with their sharp claws.

He can hear screaming, it sounds like Rebecca and he wonders if she is upstairs. He races to the second floor and finds her fending off a hunter in the library. As it corners her, Chris kills it with his shotgun. Rebecca is shaken but thankful. Chris tells her to use her better judgment and to stay out of sight whilst he goes on ahead. They have to find the others.

Rebecca stays behind whilst Chris returns to the main hall, having found the two emblems that unlock the door beneath the stairs. Venturing down into the bowels of the mansion he hears gunshots. Climbing down a ladder he emerges in a huge tomb and finds Captain Wesker embodied in combat with a huge creature, the mutated Lisa Trevor. Wesker slaps home a fresh clip and invites Chris to help him out.

Together they drive the creature away by opening up the stone sarcophagus in the centre of the room. It ignores the two STARS officers and takes the skull of the occupant inside the tomb and then kills itself by hurling off the edge of the chasm. Wesker reloads and tells Chris to go on ahead whilst he checks out the area a little further.

REMAKE – CHRIS GAME: JULY 25TH PRE-DAWN

UNOFFICIAL EVENTS

Chris emerges into another section of the garden where he uncovers the secret entrance leading to an underground laboratory. Once inside he uncovers proof that all the creatures loose on the estate are the result of experiments authorised by Umbrella. He also discovers that Captain Wesker is working for them! However, he is hit from behind and knocked unconscious.

REUC – MANSION INCIDENT 3

Meanwhile, Jill has also stumbled across the labs. Using three MO discs, she finds Chris locked up in a cell but she can’t get him out. He tells her Wesker is the traitor. She runs into Barry, who apologises for leaving her and together they take the elevator down to the main experiment room. As they enter, Wesker is waiting for them. Hiding behind one of the cultivation tanks, he injects himself with the mutated virus Birkin gave him the previous night. As Wesker steps out to Jill it seems her suspicions about Barry are confirmed when he suddenly holds her at gunpoint. After it is revealed that Wesker has been with Umbrella all along and that STARS have been set up for this whole incident, Wesker orders Barry to go to the heliport and later mocks Jill that the threat on Barry’s family was just a bluff. Wesker shows Jill the Tyrant, before attempting to shoot her but Barry is in their first and puts two rounds into Wesker’s shoulder. He apologises to Jill after learning that Wesker’s threat over his family was just a bluff. Semi-conscious, Wesker unleashes the tyrant before Barry can stop him.

The Tyrant turns on Wesker and spears him through the chest, tossing his lifeless body aside; it turns upon Jill and Barry. The Tyrant wounds Barry, knocking him out, leaving Jill to take it on alone.

After a brief battle, the monster is felled. They decide to make their escape and head back up the elevator. After freeing Chris from the cells they find Rebecca, who says she has been tracking Chris since she saw him in the garden. She tells them that with all the BOW running loose and T-Virus infection, they should blow the labs up. As the others head for the surface, Rebecca heads to the lab to activate the triggering system.

REUC – REBIRTH 1

Albert Wesker opens his eyes, he is alive. Taking off his shades he stands up, blood running from multiple wounds over his body, yet he feels no pain. The virus is working. Looking round, he see’s the Tyrant is on the floor, apparently dead and that someone has set off the self-destruct system. He needs to change his plan and secure his escape. Moving to the computer, he attempts to download all the combat data on the BOW but finds that due to the emergency conditions, all the data has been backed up to the mainframe system UMF-13. When he tries to access the mainframe he finds his access privileges have been revoked thanks to Umbrella’s new AI Red Queen. Wesker concludes this must be the work of Sergei Vladimir after their unpleasant meeting at the training facility the night before. Now the plan has definitely changed, he had better secure his escape, and then he would deal with Umbrella later.

In order not to run into Chris and the others who have likely gone to the helicopter landing pad, Wesker elects to take a route back through to the mansion and walk straight out the front door.

REMAKE: JILL GAME

REMAKE: CHRIS GAME

As the countdown to destruction continues, Jill receives transmissions over the radio from Brad, he is running out of fuel and that this is their last chance to give him a signal. They quicken the pace. Barry and Rebecca stand guard to lay covering fire as Chris and Jill ride up the elevator to the helipad to signal the helicopter.

REUC – REBIRTH 2

Back in the mansion, Wesker encounters Lisa Trevor blocking his exit. She is somehow still alive despite him and Chris filling her with bullets some hours earlier. They stand off in the main hall before Wesker eventually shoots down the great chandelier above which comes crashing down on her, allowing him to get out the front door.

REMAKE: DAWN

The others manage to reach the helipad where they use a flare to signal Brad in the helicopter but as he tries to land the tyrant is back for one last battle. Brad drops a rocket launcher down and Chris uses it to blow the creature to hell. They then board and escape as the mansion and labs go up behind them.

REUC – REBIRTH 2: EPILOGUE

Wesker uses his new found strength to sprint away through the forest as the mansion goes up in flames behind him.

UNOFFICIAL EVENTS: JULY 25TH DAY

The survivors return to the RPD to be met with a mixed and bemused reception. 8 out of their 13 man elite squad dead, including Commander and leader Albert Wesker. Convict Billy Coen also believed to be dead, his body not recovered. They are ordered to take time off to recover from their ordeal, giving Umbrella time to plan their next move before the survivor’s formal reports are submitted.

RES – HOW TO EXTRACT BETA HETERO NONSEROTONIN

WESKER’S REPORT 2

REUC – WESKER’S REPORT EXTRACT ON THE TYRANT PLAN

At an Umbrella owned island somewhere far away in the sea, workers at a factory have seemingly found a solution to the lack of available hosts suitable for the tyrant programme. Currently, the research stands at only 1 person in every 10000000 tested will have the correct adaptability to become a tyrant due to keeping the carrier’s intelligence to a certain level; the rest will simply turn into a zombie. However, research on Sheena Island has found that a material found in one of the human brain’s elements called Beta Hetero Nonserotonin which is produced by the pituitary of people at the latter period of developing their secondary sex characteristics can be injected in large doses into the host to help them keep that inner intelligence in order to become a Tyrant. The compound only exists in active cells, it cannot be extracted from a dead brain and thus the best way to extract it is to cut open the subject’s skull without using anaesthesia. The factory’s Commander, Vincent Goldman, hopes this breakthrough will earn him rich rewards at Umbrella HQ.

RES – FACTORY WORKER’S DIARY

A factory worker on Umbrella owned Sheena Island despairs over his work of having to cut into live human subject’s heads to extract a rare tissue from their brains in order to increase their compatibility to become a tyrant. He doesn’t believe his job is ethical, even if it is company orders. He knows he will be sent to a place worse than hell when he dies. He has asked Commander Vincent Goldman, the head of the facility, about ways to relieve the guinea pigs suffering. Goldman ignores the request, saying that pure beta hetero nonserotonin cannot be extracted if anaesthetics are used. He tells the factory worker to see the guinea pigs not as humans, but just as raw materials to make Tyrants with. The factory worker thinks this is all well and good, but Goldman does not have to slice through their skulls.
